So for maybe the past year and a half I've been on and off some anti-depressants.. cymbalta for maybe 6 months and then prozac for about a year. Around a month ago I stopped taking prozac cold-turkey (just felt it was time to get off of medication). Recently I've tried to roll, and I definitely feel good but just not the overwhelming feelings described by other ecstasy users. I know the half-life of prozac is up to a month but I'm just wondering everyone else's opinions? Whats wrong? Havent waited long enough or what?

The half life is only about a month but the way the chemicals change your brain can last much longer than that. You should be able to experience the full effects of ecstasy in a month or two, be patient, it WILL be worth it =D

^ I get what you are trying to say but your statement is not accurate. the half-life of prozac is 48-72 hours and it is completely undetectable in 3-5 days. it dose have lasting effects on the brain that can take months to normallize. there are even reports that say that for people who were on it for many years the changes in the brain can be permanent.

most threads here say wait a month after stopping prozac to allow you brain function to normalize befor trying MDMA. if the MDMA has little effect after that...wait 3-6 months and try again. if after that you still don't get effects from MDMA...lucky you!!....you are now a part of the minority that will never be able to roll again :(
