Ecstasy + Nyquil (DXM)

I've been taking Nyquil pretty much after every event I've been to where I have taken Ecstasy (4-5 pills a night). The dosage I take contains 15mg of DXM HBr, and 6.25mg of Doxylamine succinate. I recently read on the forums that DXM and Ecstasy is a bad combo and was wondering if this is only at recreational doses, or if I should stop taking Nyquil to have a calm night's sleep.

tl;dr - Is a normal dose of Nyquil to go to sleep really that bad after rolling?

yes it is bad for you it causes serotonene syndrome witch can be deadly.big no no mate

Try safer alternatives like Valerian or Melatonin. I especially like melatonin after a roll because it has powerful antioxidant qualites as well as knocking you out for a good 7-8 hours of restful sleep.

a small theraputic non-recreational dose will more than likely not have any bad effects at all taken after rolling. higher doses of DXM will definately further amplify liver damage and may cause serotonin syndrome if used while rolling

As far as I know the risk of seritonin syndrome is quite small when combining DXM an MDMA. But there is a greater risk of hyperthemia. both DXM and MDMA limit the body's ability to regulate its temp and can lead to over heating much more quickly than either drug on its own.

But we are talking about recreational doses in these cases. with the relatively small "theraputic" doses there isn't much to worry about.
