Ecstasy Myths - MEGA MERGED

i will say that sites like Bluelight and erowid where GREAT for me!!

i never knew what i was doin to my body and never thought bout any of it at all..then i completly accidentaly ran across this site and i had only done x and weed up to then.......now when ever i try something new i come here and erowid to learn all i can first!

LOL..this one is something new to my hears. I was a about 200 pills in when me and the babys mom had our child. These people should just shut up and keep pounding there alcohol...stupid ass people

Im sorry..are you saying that meth and heroin are in every pill? If so, you are totally wrong. For one, I have never seen one lab tested pill tested for heroin and Methamp is not a very popular used cut in E pills.

You should try bluelights cousin (pillreports.com). I am a frequent user of that site. Very informative with pill experiences and pill ratings and most of the users reagent test pills. This has saved me from many bad experiences with adulterated pills.
 
Hello all, I would also like to point out that since Ive been using E drunk people look like the dumbest individuals around. Always bashing the rolling kids when Im still 5 times smarter on 5 E pills then there drunk asses. Wow how E has opened and changed my perspective on everything in my life. I cant believe I used too drink my self stupid. Now I dont drink at all, just one beer occasionally. I dont enjoy the buzz from alcohol since ive been using E. It just seems retarded to me.

I like going to the bar when Im rolling for just about fifteen minutes or so. Just to laugh at all those dumb ass drunk people. LOL. Plus they act like that alcohol there drinking is not a drug and does no harm. I am pretty sure that alcohol and smoking kill more people then any other drug in the world Last time I checked the stats anyway. ALCOHOL IS A DRUG~JUST A LEGAL ONE.

Apparently the propaganda is still going around, nobody got the memo about the meth used in that study. Go figure, the government never aired the mistake on TV like they did when they still thought it was MDMA.

I agree..the media and the government has totally brainwashed the society into thinking E is like playing Russian roulette with your life. HAHA...but this has some truth now since they have made E illegal. Now dealers have the opportunity to press adulterated pills with dangerous substances, when if this drug was legal in some way, at least we rollers would know what we are buying. Be safe.

Thats silly...because researched this and there has been proof of meth and other amphetamines being terrible for your heart. This also included cocaine.
 
Ohhh...have you heard the myth about E making your brain "bleed". This kid that said he used to make E in his garage told me this and he said that this is how you get the trip from E. He said that it bled down your spine and sparked hallucinations and the warm fuzzy feeling you get from mdma. I literally was rolling on the floor laughing telling him that he is so full of shit and has no idea what he is talking about.

So I ask this kid-Oh yea, if your so smart on this subject, how did you synthesize the E. He then polished this stupid conversation off by telling me he used Mdma to make mdma. And that heroin and cocaine are two parts of the chemical process...At this point I just said..MAN....GET THE FUCK OUT OF HERE-YOUR A RETARD.

I've heard this before and I think its exactly why they'll never make it legal again with all the anheuser busches out there with all their lobbyists and political power. God forbid less people would want to get drunk. MDMA and other psychedelics make you peaceful and inspire understanding. Those drunken cokeheads that run the world don't like that at all.

ive got some halarious ecstacy myths all spoken by my retarded friends.
friend of mine: DUDE all ecstacy is cocaine and heroin.
me: dude ecstacy is mdma. putting cocaine and heroin in a pill would be unsuccessful for dealers and users.

same friend of mine: u better watch your shit with those e pills! each pill you are busted with counts as manslaughter!
me: what the fuck now.

idiot who overheard me talking about e: Your an idiot i saw a study and ecstacy makes your brain bigger than it should be.
me: How would my brain possibly grow outside of my skull?

I think all the myths are so incredably stupid, what people fail to realize is that using the word "ecstacy" is too broad a statement because of all the possible additives. If only, if only, the government didnt spread propaganda.....
 
wow, this thread is hilarious. I cant believe some of these myths. I mean, no one is saying E is good for you but the key is MODERATION and to be educated about the drug. Of course we r kinda playing with fire since it's still unknown if MDMA causes any damage over the years, but come on. How many legal drugs we take that we KNOW are bad. All these people drinking and taking painkillers, that is horrible for u. All these legal drugs that can cause 100 side effects that WE KNOW about, and we still take it ! But of course, we feel safe cause the are approved by our hypocrite government. Im telling u, America is fucking brainwashed.

While he's wrong, I see where he got that from. If you drink a lot of water, when you have a low level of salt in your body, it can cause your brain to swell (and ultimately can kill you). This can happen to athletes (because they've sweated a lot, and lost salt), soldiers in training, etc - and sometimes it does happen to people using ecstasy (especially at a rave, where its hot, you're dancing, you sweat a lot, etc).

It's very rare, but it can and has killed ecstasy users; but only those who sweat a lot AND drink a lot (gallons) of water. Just make sure you drink enough to keep hydrated, don't swallow bottle after bottle. (And ideally, drink a sports drink instead of water, or eat something salty).

It's not caused by ecstasy as such, but apparently taking ecstasy does increase the risk slightly.
