Ecstasy effects on Prozac

I have been depressed for a few years but have been enjoying E responsibly for a year – for one night every 2 or 3 weeks I can feel normal and great. Recently I decided to finally see someone about my depression and I got prescribed the anti-depressant fluoxetine (prozac) today. I've been reading and it seems that if I take on the prozac, it will mean I won't be able to experience a good MDMA roll as long as i'm on the anti-depressant (and even a long time after I stop taking it). It's tough but I've decided to give up MDMA and take prozac in order to better myself and my life... I want to experience it one last time tomorrow night with my friends, but while I know that prozac ruins MDMA's positive effects, is it also the case the other way around? Is taking MDMA before starting my dose of the anti-depressant the next day a bad idea? I really want the prozac to work so I don't want to fuck it up if taking MDMA a day or so beforehand will mess it up somehow.

No. I don't see a reason why taking MDMA before an SSRI would affect it. In fact, it is often proposed that taking an SSRI on the tail-end of a roll may reduce any potential damage. This is based on the similar theory as to why SSRI's stop MDMA from initially working - they bind to the same sites in the brain.

And thanks to this forum. Even though these are my first posts, I've browsed this forum in the past and learned a lot. Had a great love affair with MDMA but all things end.
