Ecstasy Dye Affecting Results

I have tested 2 different pills 2 different times with all 5 tests
Marquis, Mandelin, Mecke, Simons, and Ropadope. The problem I have is that every time it seems like the dye in the pills affects the result.

With my pink pill, all test results had a dark orange to light brown color just like if you add yellow and pink together. There was one exception. The robadope turned a light purple.

The same happened with my green pill; All results were a light green to yellow color.

I'm really confused about this...

This is interesting. How old is your testing kit?

I've seen instances where the dye can effect results (usually in tiny spots), but not to the extent that you are describing. :(

New I assume, I got it in about a week ago.

I tested an Adderall and got the correct green change for amphetamines, don't remember which test that was for though.

The only thing I can think of is your pill could be non-active, and the reagents are not changing color, only absorbing the dye in the pill...but that's still iffy? I wish I could help you more. :(

The green change for amp was with the Mandelin reagent.
