Ecstasy doesn't affect me at all?

Ecstasy user going on ~3 years here. My usage has mostly been at concerts, where I never felt anything after each hit. My usage was once around every 2-4 months, so I doubt there's a tolerance factor. I did about 175 mg (the guy said it was anywhere between 150-200 mg, so I'm going in the middle) of molly with my first-timer buddy a few days ago, and he was sent straight into another dimension with one cap (as in, I went to take a piss and came back to find him doing the back stroke in the grass), but it was his first time, so it was understandable with a dosage that high. However, it didn't affect me at all. After 4 hours of feeling nothing while my buddy, I took another E pill that I knew would give me a feeling of lightlessness and hyperness, but I guess that was the amphetamine part of MDMA. I took it to keep up with my buddy, who walked around for 3 hours straight without feeling tired at all (even describing it as a "15 minute walk"). I experienced no visuals, no audio effects, nothing. Just the amphetamine effects.
If this was one experience, I would shrug it off most likely, but after years of all the E I've done not hitting me at all (or at least in the way I want it to), something must be up.
Does anyone else know of experiences like this?
Is it possible for a drug to not affect you at all?

It sounds like you didn't have mdma not sure what you're asking??
Plus you NEED to space your mdma use by atleast a month each time.

I always have spaced out my uses, as I said, by a couple months at least. With my buddy was the only time I've ever taken more than one hit within a few months, and that was only so I wouldn't crash from being exhausted while my buddy was straight-up tripping balls.
I always have a trip buddy(s) when I do E, and they were feeling the effects, but I didn't, so I'm sure it was MDMA. It just didn't affect me.
I was asking if it's possible for a drug not to affect you at all, no matter what, or if anyone has had similar experiences.
Out of the >10 times I've done E, all my friends have felt it, but I wasn't feeling anything, and if I was feeling something, I was nowhere near on the same level as my buddies.

You need to take more man. A friend of mine had the same thing. With 1 pill I was totally wasted and he got about the same effect when he took 2,5.. (160 mg) Some ppl just need some more

That might not be the smartest thing to do with untested pills. OP, the fact that your friend feels it and you don't doesn't mean it's really MDMA in those pills. It could be anything and it could have a thousand different possible causes. There's adulterants out there that do nothing to some people while others feel like they're rolling. Besides, your friend never did MDMA before so he has nothing to compare it to, he just knows he was under the influence of some drug. And even an experienced user can be fooled by bad pills. Buy a testkit and verify it for yourself. Once you do that you can try to further determine what the cause for this is, but that's the first thing you should do

are you on any medication? have you taken antidepressants for a longer peroid of time in the recent past?

you say you have been taking ecstasy every now and then for 3 years now... and you have never felt the effects?

I would test the next batch you have, and then take a higher dose than normal if it's MDMA, and what the above poster said.. If you're on any medication or have been on antidepressants or other meds affecting seretonin and dopamine receptors then it won't work at all or very well

I was on anti-depressants for a few years, but stopped them over a year ago, which is why I didn't think it was any meds I was using.
I'm a huge concert goer, I normally go to a concert every couple months, depending on who's playing in my area. If some E comes my way in the crowd, I'll try it, but so far I have always been disappointed.

It could very well still be the meds if you've been on them for years on end. They can have a long-lasting dampening influence on MDMA, in extreme cases a few years. What anti-depressants where you on exactly if I may ask?

First thing is get a testkit, as others have already said. Bunk or adulterated drugs is the first thing you should rule out. And watch out with buying your drugs in a crowd, some pills and powders out there contain things you really don't want to take and those bad ones are much more abundant at a concert. See this recent alert for an example, and that's not as uncommon as you might assume. Depending on where you live you could easily have the vast majority of MDMA found in a crowd at a concert to be anything except for MDMA. If you only go every couple of months, I would try to buy some MDMA beforehand. That offers more certainty, more so if you get a testkit as well, you can even test it in front of the dealer before you buy
