Hello hello,
Here's a little bit about me: I've been diagnosed with major depression OR Bi-polar 1 (My doctors can't seem to figure which of the two) and I've been on a whole list of psychotropic drugs all summer but currently I'm on lexapro (except discount this because I stopped taking it on my own accord) 100mg seroquel nightly and 10mg twice a day of adderall.

Three nights ago I bought several pills from a friend, whom I watched ingest a pill and roll face. Last night I decided I wanted to take one to see how they were and after an hour and a quarter I grew impatient and took a second. I went out with my friends, yadda yadda. Four hours after the first dose I still felt nothing. It really killed my night knowing that my friend had taken the same kind of pill and had a good experience.

I decided to go home and crush up another pill, where I held it under my tongue for several minutes and then swallowed it. Needless to say, it had no effect either. Frankly I'm pissed I just wasted three pills. I then gave my buddy one today which he took and felt and enjoyed, making me more mad.

My question/concern is; Could the daily adderall doses diminish the ecstasy? Could it be the seroquel? I don't want people saying the pills are bunk because two experienced people other than me had ingested them and enjoyed them. I only have a couple left and I want to make them count so what should I do? Stop all adderall and seroquel doses? Thank you for your time and help.
 
If you are watching your friends enjoy the pills and the only difference is your medication then it really goes without saying that your medications are playing a big part.

How long were you on the lexapro for? And how long ago did you stop taking it? I took SSRI's and other serotonergic substances for about a year and even 6 months later I was not able to roll......I really believe that SSRI use can greatly hinder your ability to roll even months after discontinuation.
 
I mean, apparently it is the medication but I didn't know a small day-to-day adderall dose would prove strong enough to completely hinder MDMA. And for the lexapro, I probably took it for a week or less and last took it August 15 or so. From June 15 to July 5 I was on a 40mg prozac routine but it was discontinued because the doses proved too much for me.
 
IMO, I don't feel like adderall is what is hindering your ability to roll...maybe lexapro or seroquel are the culprits? I am prescribed to 60 mgs of Adderall a day and I roll perfectly fine :) I'm not too familiar with the other prescriptions so you may want to check into those. Good luck!
 
As this forum is about using drugs safely, I would suggest you do not try using ecstasy until your health situation stabilizes. E can trigger depressive episodes, so I'm sorry to be a party pooper but I think the risk for you is simply too great.
 
hi corkraver, I too am on medicatons for mental illnesses, I have bi polar and mild schizophrenia. Once I got on these medications I can definitley not get as high off the same amount of any kind of pills or opiates. But I can fix this problem by taking a little more then I used to, more expensive but if you're not getting high every day its better then cheaping out and not getting high at all. And also idk about the adderral I do know that its a powerful stimulant and for me atleast when I take adderral or coke or anything like that is very hard to roll. But if you're only taking 20mgs a day I dont know if that would be enough. My suggestion would be next time you wanna roll cut down or stop taking your adderral (unless you really need it) for 2 or 3 days before you roll. Also get a couple extra pills then you would normally get. do not take all of them at once however, start off like you did last time taking two, waiting 45-hr and pop another one. THE ONE THING I advise you not do is get off your mental meds for even a few days, i have done this before with sever consequences. Hopes this helps
 
The seroquel & adderall could be messing it up together. I take seroquel as a sleeping pill & if I`m going to roll or trip I cut back on it over a couple of days.
