Eat your munchies before smoking to get higher.

I myself would think that most people would think this title is backwords or retarted. But ive recently gotten into an debate with close friends about eating while stoned.

Homie #1 Thinks that eating before smoking is much better because it
prevents the muchies causing you to stay higher longer due to the fact that eating causes you to come down from your high.

Homie #2 Thinks that digesting anything before smoking will lower your high in terms of duration and intensity depending on stomach contents. (more food the less of a high).

I find that smoking after a large meal provides a less satisfying feeling that seems not to last as long. It also makes me more sleepy. Although small meals and snacks have no effect. Normaly I try to wait as long as possible before eating if I smoke as I want to get the max effect out of my bud.

We all agree that eating after smoking makes the experience shorter.

I would like to know how eating effects your high and when do you perfer to give in to the munchies if you do.
 
My only conclusion is that eating while baked tastes good, but diminishes my high.

Edibles are also best consumed on an empty stomach.
 
I always eat after smoking. It's more delicious to do it that way.

I like to eat after smoking too because then you can make food that tastes very good that you wouldn't eat sober or you wouldn't think to eat while sober.

I know people who claim that if they eat or even drink milk after smoking that it makes them feel completely sober.

I think these people are just smoking very shitty schwag. ;)
 
I would think of it kind of like this,
since , when you get high on weed, its going to be in your blood stream, well,
when you eat munchies, alot of the time, its junk food, is it not?
Well, Im assuming that sugar going into the blood stream may have to do with it,
And maybe eating fatty foods may effect smoking thc due to the fact that thc is fat soluble?

I'm not really postive, Im just high, and I think it would have to do with glucose and sugars and what not.
Just due to the fact that your eating so much when high, compared to , if you eat before, and dont eat while high, you probably wont eat nearly as much as the person who ate when they had the munchies.

Honestly, I prefer to eat before and then get high, as it does make my high better, and it does make it seem to last longer.
BUT
Thats not usually how it works for me, I usually eat before thinking "Oh Ill smoke after this and Ill just relax and not eat anymore", smoke, bowl, bowl, bowl, bowl, bowl, hmm, I think its time for some pizza!
 
if i'm just a little buzzed off a couple hits, a lot of food will make my high a tad bit shorter. but when i'm really fucking baked, all the food in the world doesn't seem to make a difference

but eating before does not seem to prevents munchies for me at all, so i find it's a big waste and i just end up eating too much cause i want more food when im high. so i always eat after. also, food tastes really damn good while high, but i'm sure you all know that\

although i don't like smoking on a completely empty stomach. if i'm famished smoking's not a really good idea
 
Eating while high has never diminished my high in any way. The only negatives come when I wake up the next day after raiding the kitchen the entire day before.
 
I also find that food consistently kills highs. It can even kill trips if i've been smoking weed during the trip. Of course, that doesn't work when i want it to kill the trip, but it's pretty effective when i dont.
 
Food doesn't kill my high hardly at all. Unless I munch down like a full meal, some candy, some brownies and on and on. I really have to pig out to feel any effect. I'd guess it probably has more to do with crashing from carbs/sugar than food killing the high.

For me any little effect on my high doesn't matter compared to the pleasure of eating yummy food while high.
 
From what ive experienced, starting out smoking you always think it's a good idea to smoke then eat for the taste. But once you build a tolerance you end up smoking after you've eaten as other folks have already mentioned as any food will bring your high down and generally leave you with a burnt out feeling, IME.
 
I can barely finish a meal if im sober. It makes me feel sick if i force myself to eat. But i could eat up the whole kitchen when im baked. I do agree that eating while high makes your high shorter. Which is a bitch cuz ill smoke. eat. smoke again. then eat again. etc etc. Untill i cant eat anymore.
 
Eating tends to diminish my high only if I am moderately baked. I still think that the pleasure of satisfying your munchies is worth the reduction of your high though. However, if I am very ripped, eating even a huge meal does not put a dent into my high at all.
