Easy MDMA purity test?

I have stumbled across some powder, but I'm not entirely trustworthy of the source.

Does anyone know some type of home made chemical reaction I could whip up to test it? This person is THAT shady where I'd like to avoid ingesting it until I'm positive that MDMA is a large majority of the content. I don't want to order a test kit because it's not THAT big of a deal, but I was just asking if theres something cheap/easy I could do besides good-old-fashioned eating it.

Any help is largely appreciated
 
It is that big of a deal if it's some overdosed RC in it and it kills you, spend the 20 bucks for a marquis. And I could be wrong but I doubt there is anything besides the usual regents that can test.

Powder is also a billion times more sketchy then pills, powder could be ANYTHING. Pills take some effort to make, powders take zero effort.
 
You have two options: Buy some Marquis, or take the pill and risk the chance of consequences. I would buy the marquis so save us the trouble and take the safer route.
 
My first question is if the source isnt entirely trustworthy, then why buy the product (unless you got it for free)?

There really isnt a way to test the purity of the substance without a GC/MS. Like it says above, the Marquis regeant is the best way to go right here. If I was looking for MDMA, I would trust powders the least, then pills, and trust crystals the most. But the ONLY way to know for sure is to use a test kit.
 
My buddy called about a gas station attendant that made him the offer. The kid was apparently high off his gord, so its a safe connection in terms of avoiding an undercover. I just don't know the guy. We're gonna pitch in half n buy a hit to see what happens. I'm not exactly concerned for my health, it's just more along the lines of not getting tanked on a deal. I can tell by taste if there is ANY MDMA, but that's such a strong taste only a seasoned vet can tell if it's a high concentration of high quality molly. And even then you can't be sure. It really isn't that big of a deal and I'm not that worried about it, but at the same time getting ripped off is the worst thing in the world next to getting busted haha

This basically sums it up - test it or chuck it out!

Why risk taking an unknown chemical from an untrusted source?
 
Put a point on foil, light under the Molly, if it's pure it should leave nothing but a little spec of light brown on the foil, the more residue it leaves the more cut it is... That's by no means a perfect test as there are plenty of cuts that react the same way to heat, but if it doesn't pass the test it's bad, but it could also be bad if it does pass the test.
 
Thanks for the input guys. That was a big help. That foil test was the only real thing I was looking for. Just something to let me know it's not 50% baking soda or something.

So basically your saying NO theres no way to test it :D
 
send a sample to ecstacydata's lab with the appropriate amount of money and wait for the results to be posted. That's really the only way to know for sure if you live in the US.

120$ + an epic wait + lose the powder? I think not.

From personal experience, GET A TEST KIT. Investing in a test kit would have saved me a net of 90$ out of the $120 I first spent on "powder MDMA" (actually pipes).
