Well, it's still two mad acts, would you not say? I mean, a live Hallucinogen would be nice, but it'll also be sweeeet to hear Simon play a DJ set as well... but c'mon Raja! :D
 
rbb - Well technically you are right, but think about it...if they advertised Hallucinogen as playing 2 sets, we'd be just as excited :) Let alone two completely different styles of music (which shpongle and hallucinogen are).

As for Orbital......well.....if what you say is true......I think.....I......will......not.....be......leaving earthcore this year =D

Holy shit, that would be absofuckinglutey amazing. Only worry I have is that they'll bring down some top notch techno acts who will play at the same time as my fave psy acts, and i'll break down, seriously.

I hope Siaqua plays this year, i hear they might be launching a new album around that time. But whoever plays, it'll be great, & Infected & Hallucinogen, omg!

although the venue does suck, if you can think of anywhere else outdoors that can handle the capacity why dont you email earthcore and enlighten them? sounds like it will be one awesome event though!

Anyhow $110 full price is bit steep when you have a mortgage,
car loans and planning to start a family....

As for the location..Whos gives a fuck where it is....Its not the
location that makes for a good party....Its the vibe of the crowd..

How sure a thing is it that hallucinogen is playing? cos i dont want to drive down to melb from brissy just to find out he isnt playing... (just like eat static and x-dream last year.... :X )

Andromeda: Earthcore are generally pretty good at bringing out who they say they will. that being said simon posford has already cancelled once this year due to 'back problems' (i think he ended up going to japan around the time he was meant to be here, so the excuse was bullshit), but that wasn't earthcore's fault.

as for the XDream / eat static thing, wel

on the venue thing, it's not even the lack of venues around, there are shitloads of good outdoor venues that can accomodate those numbers, its more the permit factor that makes it hard.

Is anyone going to be driving up from newcastle/sydney at all? i cant afford a plane ticket and don't have a car so it would be good if i could get in with some people that are driving and have a road trip =D Sharing in fuel costs etc would be really good not to mention some fun company on the way or if anyone would like to catch the train up with me? 17 hrs is a long time to travel alone 8)

Why? Because it is the last Eartchore party ever. There has been NO OFFICIAL statement of the venue; although all the acts listed so far have all been oficially confirmed.

I doubt orbital are playing as on an orbital website it said in an interview with Orbital early this year they said they would not be playing live this year but instead going back to the studio. It still is possible however (Spiro did get feci back already!)... i'l cross my fingers :D

Tickets have gone up to 65 bucks as the first 300 have sold out, i'm assuming they go up another 10 every month or 300 sold, which ever comes first. So anyone worried about price i suggest you get them now.

Earthcore 1993 - 2003 - the summit has been reached !!!!!!!!

This is it folks a culimination of 10 years of outdoor events and 12 years of indoor ones.

For the sake of trivia this will be the 28 th Earthcore we have put on and 40 th outdoor event in total.

After so many years at it this will be the last Earthcore as all of you know it as big changes lay ahead.

The production of this event will be a no holds barred extravaganza way beyond anyone has seen in their entire lives attempting to capture a moment from each and all the ten years of past shows as we sift through the archives and contact hundreds of dj's, artists, event crews who have made earthcore what it is.

I'm proud of what I have created and intend to show the world that Earthcore is and always will be a world class event in its own right having spawned many to put go their own path and embrace the beauty of partying and putting on their own events outdoors under the stars.

Earthcore is Australian as it gets cementing recognition encompassing the entire globe and putting Australia on the map and especially Victoria as a mecca for dance enthusiasts everywhere and a outlet for thousands of musicians from every genre of electronic music.

To get the ball rolling our confirmed headline acts so far are

Hallucinogen (U.K.-live)
Infected Mushroom (Israel-live)
The mighty mighty Robert Leiner (Sweden- Magic Sunrise set)
Younger Brother/Shpongle dj set (U.K. - closing set)

+ a shitload more which we'll be releasing each and every month including venue details etc etc
