I had BHM, along with about 10 other people, on ignore for a while, when theye were telling me things i didnt want to hear at the time of my phenazpam train wreck. They've all be un-ignored one by one. Most people stayed out of that one, but out of those that did get involved some were supportive, some were deliberately trolling, others were just stating opinions and facts.

Yeah seriously we're still debating but we felt a few more mods would bring better coverage when I'm off being a student and one of us occasionally gets stuck in a drug circle. So yeah I think a few more apps are still needed. Even if you're not sure, but think it might work out, do it. It's more of a learning as you go process bar the Official BL handbook you get when you join and guidance from current mods along the way.

Was going to make an alt account called "ShamanThambles" and apply for a giggle, sadly life is too short.

I think Shambles has been there/done that modwise and posting periods are becoming more sporadic. ColtDan has the perfect credentials IMO; he is unemployed and spends all day and night taking different drugs while posting here. Problem is I'm currently in his bad books and can see him being quick to release the infract trigger on my ass.

Personally I think 3 mods do the job. 2 could even do it, maybe. If you post something that 3/4 mods wouldn't snip, wouldn't warn, wouldn't close etc... with 4 mods it's always going to get penalised. More mods means less lenience altogether; tighter controlling; restriction. 5 mods is just silly.

We're looking at it as having greater coverage so someone is (almost) always here to sort things out. People are not going to get penalised just because we get more mods; we do discuss action to be taken between the three of us as it is and that won't change. A lot goes on behind the scenes to ensure everything is fairr as it can be and if an infraction is given that's unfair it can always be reversed if it's seen to be as such. We do disagree sometimes and a few new perspectives will help, IMO.

So don't worry about that, we try not to restrict things too much here and as I said before a lot of discussion goes into how to deal with stuff. We're not going to go all fascist just because we have a few more people :D

Colt Dan has said he's not into censoring personal stuff/beefs (there's wastebasket all that can be dumped in anyway if it's a choice between censoring and not), so unless you're going to be advising people to start slamming meth, I think you'd probably be left alone ;p


And perhaps there's more to the recruitment story than the mods are letting on. Ever think of that one

Im all for freedom of speech and threads going off topic, it keeps the threads alive. apart from breaking the rules of no source mentioning, no racism or slating people that have died on here, etc. infractions are pretty pointless from what ive gathered. the only modding i see that needs doing on here is the said source mentioning and perhaps foolsgold and brimz spamming links all over the place. although i do the same now and again

I have my moles. No, no one has leaked anything, i just misunderstood someones PM about the mod position on The Darkside. It seems that has been decided, i thought they were talking about EADD, but they weren't.
