I'm more of a poster than a lurker.

Mind you I lurked for a while, posted for a while, then lurked for a while, then I posted for a while then I got modded.

But we all have our ups and downs. This poster/lurker thing is just an abstraction, in reality we are posters only while we are posting, and lurkers while we are lurking.
 
the lurkers spook me out a bit because there is no way of knowing who they are. Many forums dont let you see the content until you register an account. Maybe that wouldnt be a bad idea to impliment here ? In that way even the lurkers who never post would become regulars if they are often seen there at the bottom of the page, just lurking.
 
See, this is interesting, because I recognise all of your names and would consider you posters. Do you lurkers follow the Gibberings thread and stuff like that, or not?

I think that would go against BL's purpose of harm reduction, I think a lot of current posters will have first off started lurking in EADD while looking into Mephedrone / MXE / 6-APB etc.

I don't think I post enough to really classify myself as a poster but given that I first started coming here in 07/08 I'm a lot less of a lurker than I have been...

I don't read everything in Gibberings but do check in a couple times a week
 
I pretty much follow every thread every day, looking on bluelight is a bit of a habit for me. I'm normally stoned and can't be bothered to post though. It's pretty much just when i'm on chems sat on my own that i post.

Ahh, yeah, that's quite a lurkery thing to do! I used to do it too. Better than Eastenders, it is.

I say things on here that can be read by hundreds of people that i probably wouldnt say to anyone IRL. Really quite bizzare, its just feels free and anonymous, though thats partly an illusion, im sure we could all be traced and tracked if anyone really wanted to. Not trying to sow the seeds of paranoia i just that i think sometimes i give far too much away. Id like to be a bit more mysterious and not such an open book. I may get re-born with a new alt xept Alisdair probably wouldnt like that.

Posts Per Day 5.32. Thats a lot really. Somedays i dont have anything to say, or dont see anything i want to respond to, but that's quite rare.

If anyone really wanted to track us down they would not need to read these posts :D - (I have visions of the curry police knocking on my door now).
