My ex was an angry teacher with glasses and that didn't end so well.
 
My mate married an attractive bespectacled librarian and she turned out to be lovely, so it's not all bad.

Gotta say I think it's kinda ageing on ya, MDB. That's not necessarily a Bad Thing but you look a lot older with beard than without. Of course any comments I make about facial hair has to take into account the fact I can't grow it so may potentially have beard enviez.
