I wasn't taking it recreationally I was looking for functionality with recreation as a bonus if it came. Problem was it was totally unfunctional. Felt utterly braindead on it. Totally unable to properly concentrate or focus on anything. Felt more like I was at the several days into a stim sesh stage from the getgo with none of the more useful or enjoyable bits first.
I had GBL with it but it didn't make it at all recreational or functional for me. Wasn't unpleasant but certainly didn't lend itself to getting anything done. Mostly just stared into space or pottered around me pooter and the interwebz.
On the plus side, it was very smooth, with almost no peripheral effects, and with no noticeable comedown. Just didn't find the actual effects were any use nor ornament is all.
lol @ 1g per night = functional use :D
But I agree with anything else stated in Shamble's last posts about 2-FMA. The last batches (which were available to me in the past ~12 months) of 2-FMA were underwhelming. I ended up binging every week (the last 10 weeks) on 200 - 300 mg consumed over the course of 24 hours. But I did not like the effects very much (I know, oxymoronic sentences). Up to hour 6 it was preferable over coffee because of the advantages in keeping you awake without being overly jittery. Then the ability to concentrate faded almost completely and what was left of time was spent on compulsive activities like browsing porn for several hours etc.. The day after the mini-binge was often not quite so funny. I could sleep like a baby, but the distinctive bruxism during the influence and my spinal chord issues led to cramps in the neck/jaw, which contributed to an aggressive mood the next ~30 hours.
I think the substance most likely could be compared to Vyvanse but with less chances of keeping you concentrated/motivated. Let's say it is like an extended release coffee with unknown long term side effects and hardcore bruxism as well as chances of development of pulmonary hypertension (many stimulants inherit the risk, but smart tongues state an even higher correlation exists in the 2-FMA case). People with access to the conventional unsubstituted amphs should not have to dabble in that territory of novelities, unless financial issues are the culprit. Why ? Cause if you compare the overall stats (affinities, potencies, purities, long-term risks, side effects), most of the latter suck
