EADD Mephedrone (4-MMC) Pirate Flagship XIII v. So Shit I'm Gonna Throw It In The Bin

Hey guys new here! Been reading for a long time so thought I should join :) picked up some lovely white crystal shards - kinda fluffy when crushed and gives you those eye wiggles and euphoria as close to pre-ban as i've had - there's definitely some nice stuff about although I miss the original crazy stuff haha
 
Haven't had any since it was banned, but have recently started putting the feelers out to try and source some. The problem is almost everything I read about it now days sounds like it is terrible in comparison. Maybe I should just leave it on its pedestal and keep the amazing memories I had of the stuff instead of tarnishing them through using inferior quality shite.

Sad state of affairs.

Had precisely that, looks like the same batch infact. Is this good drone? Cos it was banging for me, still have a decent amount left :)

Yes had stuff that looks the same as well. It's not as good as pre-ban, but I think if someone who hadn't taken any since 2010 had some of this they would enjoy it immensley and not be able to tell the difference. I've been caning it since the ban and have seen the ups and downs in quality since it became illegal and the stuff around at the moment is close to the best it's been since it was banned. No idea who or how they've done it, but someone has got close to recreating the pre-ban synth and seems to be able to produce it in abundant quantities.
 
Only a matter of time before some get together and find a decent way of synthesizing it. Wonder if its imported or made in some dodgy underground lab here in the UK haha. Any idea if the process of making it is harder than say MDMA?

There's a detailed synthesis on mephedrone if you google (wasn't sure whether I can post the link here?)
It is harder to produce mdma, the precusors and chemicals are a lot harder to access in bulk/at all.
I have a feeling there are a few ways to easily make mephedrone

This is from wikipedia:

"Mephedrone can be synthesised in several ways. The simplest method, due to the availability of the compounds,[1]:17 is to add 4-methylpropiophenone dissolved in glacial acetic acid to bromine, creating an oil fraction of 4'-methyl-2-bromopropiophenone.

It can also be produced by oxidising the ephedrine analogue 4-methylephedrine using potassium permanganate dissolved in sulfuric acid."
 
I think i read, in an article, a chemist once said it can be very similar difficulty to making meph than to amphetamines. But more money was to be made in the amp trade, apparently. so meph didn't really get synthd on a major level. Even the pre-ban meph, it really only took off mostly in the UK. i don't think it was around long enough to really explode in other parts of the world the same way.

also, i was told that most of the time, crystal/shard product is worse, can contain 3-mmc and also 4-mec are mostly crystal rocks. not sure of this though, no idea if it is true.

stuff i've seen is white powder, has the smell, sometimes clumbs or sticks together a little bit.
 
Seems to just be a case of demand. If it eventually got bigger in the UK I reckon you'd see a lot more of it about. If it's mainly a UK based drug does that mean it's still not on the radar of foreign governments or actually illegal? say other european countries or US states. I thought it would've really caught on due to the low price and mixture of coke and md feeling, albeit a RC I really do like drone, aside from the comedowns.

A few years ago it was by far the most popular drug in my part of the country. Everyone was on it, even people who 'didn't do drugs' ;)
 
My tolerance has shot up last few days I've binged way too much lately. Took 0.25 orally earlier and felt stimulated but no euphoria or proper feeling of being fucked, don't wanna snort either my nose is cut up and starting to thin :(

One thing I've learned is that you can't tell really tell the quality from the appearance. I've had absolutely wonderful stuff that if I put a photo of it up on here everyone would start shouting that it was definitely 4-mec. Similarly I've had stuff that absolutely stank of proper pre-ban drone and it looked the part yet was completely inactive when I took it. So the proof of the pudding really is in the eating/sniffing (though eating (bombing) is best).

You're right though that whoever is making this stuff is starting to get it right. I obviously don't want to stray into talk about sourcing, but I have two or three reliable sources for meph. At the start of this year none of them had anything to offer - they would all rather sell nothing rather than low grade meph - then suddenly a few months ago it became very widely available again and funnily enough all the batches that were available were good quality but slightly different. So either several big consignments hit these shores at the same time or someone over here started to get things right, but each synth they made was slightly different. Who cares really though:)
 
^ A lot of people think you can identify drugs or their quality from appearance but it isn't true.

Colouration of crystals may indicate an impurity but it may not be enough to even affect the quality of the high. Size or type of crystals don't matter either, IIRC you can have a drug be powdery or large crystals depending on how fast you evaporate them and the solvent used.

i agree, that picture above could be anything from ethylphenidate chrystals to 4mec crystals. Vendors charge more for nice pretty crystals that need smashing up into powder to consume them anyway, so what is the fucking point. :sus: Nice pretty crystals doesnt necessarily mean that its gonna be any good.
