EADD Mephedrone (4-MMC) Megathread v. XIV Pirate Flagship

Anyone know of any noticeable differences between meph and something similar like 4-mec? I'm not sure whether or not what i got recently was meph or not. I know it's near impossible to tell without some sort of testing but are there any particular signs that might give an indication? The stuff i got stank to high heaven and it did have the initial rush and added music appreciation of meph but redosing was definitely less effective. Also, experienced much more paranoia on the comedown even though set and setting was no different. As for the way it looked it was white, rice shaped crystal shards. Hmm...if anyone could shed any light i'd appreciate it. Thanks!

if it's pure 4mmc or pure 4mec you'd easily be able to tell the difference. I've had good quality 4-mec and even that's nothing close to proper drone. It's likely a mix of them or another of a long list of cathinones, and yeah impossible to tell without proper testing.

May sound a bit odd but for those that like to snoofle their meph up their noses has any one ever experienced raised sore red lumps right right at the back of their tongue-in the aftermath?
A few days ago I tried a new batch in some quantity over about 26 hours (re-dosing a fair amount middling quality imo but I think I do/did fairly small lines by most meph users standards).
I now several days later have as I said hard raised red bumps at very back of throat and without going into too much vile detail it feels like I need to hack up something 'orrid but nowt comes up, it hurttttttts-sort of feels like something permanently lodged in throat). Been reading up on possibilities and commonest seems to be allergic reaction to something e.g that mepth (although I did do a seriously teeny childs portion of speed the other day too but...)

It is uncomfortable to swallow and decongestants etc haven't cleared the delightful stuck mucusy stuff...gargling with tcp does but there is only so much tcp you can stand. Net say try antihistamines but none in house.

Has anyone else experienced this recently..an addition in a batch doing the rounds or just very impure shitter than usual bog standard meph?

If so any suggestions apart from what I have tried-have taken that I can attempt now? Had loads of zapain but throat/tongue really is so fucking uncomfortable it's keeping me awake..ice cubes sucked are helping a bit..am desperate and I really do think it was the mepth that may have been responsible (mind you suppose grudgingly it could have been numerous things). Burnt a tad harder than normal on the nose at the time too..and unusually for me I did have a few drinks with it.

Sorry moan moan moan..fucking mepth.. the only solution really would be some nice snortable powders with anesthetic properties :) fuck I would snort baby teething powder if I had some in and it might work eek but that not happening either. It was yer while small shardy stuff btw..last time I had a throat infection was from the piss week tan shit in vast quantities to make up for it's weakness...

Sorry more of a tired rant than owt else..but would be interested to know if it's happened to you too recently? Is it a Dr visit maybe for antibiotics or what?
 
Sounds nasty, hope it gets better soon, ive had a few batches where the backdrop has been harsh and bitter, the days after it hurt to swallow, sore throat a few times, dunno what it was cut with. go docs and get it checked out x

This whole getting to sleep malarky is annoying, feels like its worn off but still cant drop pff, feel so sorry for you struggling with sleep for years would do my nut in
 
It's a fucker as I am so so tired and could have gone to bed just for once and slept with no assistance from about 5pm yesterday it's just so hurty..have just found his secret stash of ice pops though which even over codeine are helping a bit :\

cant say how specific this is to meph but it sounds like you have more or less a sore throat than an allergic reaction... which might be caused by bacteria, viruses, but also chemical burns (like due to meph) or a result of prolongued dehydration (such as a long speed sesspion with extended cotton mouth and strenous.. talking), or more likely a combination of more than one. thats my assumption anyways. allergic reactions are rarely that limited and generally affect you differently (like the throat is swollen rather than sore).

anyways, unless you have a fever, or puss on your amygdala, no need to take antibiotics. all you can do basically is stay off burning chemicals for a while, suck on local anesthetic/anitspectic drops (candy) and stay hydrated (avoid cottonmouth) and eat properly. a good idea would be to avoid smoke as well.
 
Thanks Kingme appreciate the advice..chemical burn sounds about right. They have gone down a bit today but voice croaky as hell but weirdly it's not due to actual throat but back of tongue! Got no temperature so hopefully not viral....
 
Could also be acid reflux, inflo? If the meph's messed up your digestion a bit and you're effectively burning your throat with stomach acid.. could be worth popping a few antacids. Either way, hope it gets better soon. <3

I find it's quite common to get little raised lumps on the back of my tongue after using Meph. In fact, they can stay a fair while but they aren't usually any bother.

I have had painful ones once or twice, sometimes bits at the side of the tongue too. Also once my tongue swelled up a little too. The painful stuff only happened with pre ban though.

I reckon it's sounds like a combination of that & an infection. Visit to docs if it's not any better might be an idea.

Liking this white stuff alot, feels clean, well as clean as meph gets anyway. smells right, not even a big line and my jaw is grinding. decent music appreciation so far. Harsh on the hoofer

Sounds good mate. I just picked up some white stuff myself, it's definitely good stuff. How does yours look? mine isn't as shardy as normal but not powdery either. It's a little bit damp (clumpy) but breaks down to powder no problem still. It fucking stinks though, much stronger smelling than most preban I tried. I'm paying £20 a gram for it if only buying a couple.

Sameee. Fuck me my nose hurts now though, one of the roughest (and nastiest smelling) batches I've had. Oh well, pretty nice, not the best ever but I have mucho tolerance still so am probably no good judge.

Little shards that crush down into clumpy kinda stuff, yeah this stinks as well, harsh on my nose

Tis indeed pretty rough. seems to lack stimulation but is quite spangly and nice, got a sore jaw already
