EADD Mephedrone (4-MMC) Megathread v. XIV Pirate Flagship

Crsytals are usually simply be crushed to powder. Other than that it's down to how slowly the crystalisation takes place I do believe. Suppose you could always do that thing that (slightly odd) ket folk do and recrystallise it yourself by dissolving in water and steaming the solution rather than just letting it evaporate slowly. Can't see why it wouldn't also work for meph but also can't see the point when you can just crush it to achieve identical results. I'd test it with a small amount if going the recrystalisation route but crushing would be much, much simpler.

Crushing does work but I was curious if there was anything I could do to prevent having to do that each and every time. (ok, I could crush all of it up when I get it, I know that haha). I thought maybe a Acetone wash left to evaporate or something like that. What's the steaming process involve? Worth a little go.
 
Acetone wash is for removing non-water soluble (or actually it might be water soluble cuts come to think of it - removing cuts anyway) cuts so wouldn't really help as far as I can see. I am by no means saying the steaming thing would work for sure cos only seen it done with ketamine but both are water soluble so seems to me it should work. I'd still not chuck my whole stash in and hope for the best, mind. Basically just dissolve it in water, put water on a plate over a pan of simmering water and let the solution evaporate. Cos the evaporation is quick the crystals will be small. But again, never seen it done with anything other than ketamine so could end up with some 'orrible goo or summat for all I know.

Alternatively, invest in a pestle and mortar and a modicum of elbow grease. Sniff a lil line first and you'll be quite happy to crush stuff for a few minutes I'm sure :D

For the price £13 quid can't go wrong add a drop of gbl and now im gonna have the old meph shit while your nose runs and you sniffing it back up dat smell =D
 
Haha, even after doing 40g+ of the stuff the smell still makes me cringe slightly. But each to their own ;)

EDIT: That stuff doesn't look too shardy tbh, I've had stuff with really big hard shards before (which was pretty shit, worst I've had anyway) but the thin shards mixed with powery stuff tends to be pretty good.
 
Found an old DVD case the other day with bits of pre ban 09 in it, used to store it in there, still smells a bit even now. theres a hint of sweetness to the smell
 
That's the one Dan... actually the last batch of Meph I had was that stinky yet sweet smell.

Shards only became popular like in 2010 or there abouts. It was all just powder when I started using it in Feb/March '09.
 
I made the mistake of keeping a tiny bit of meph in my handbag once and I had to wash it twice to get the last of the smell out. Nasty stuff.

Thinking about it, I haven't actually done meph for about 3 weeks now. Been quite a while since I've had a break that long, hopefully my tolerance has gone down a little bit. Vaguely thinking about laying off it until I'm back at uni so I can have a good MDMA sesh in first week but that's still fucking ages away so probably not.
 
I occasionally think I get a whiff of Meph when I open my wallet too yoyo. :D

The worst was the smell of the sweat after a binge though... having to wash clothes & bed sheets. 8(

Yea thats it... stinky yet sweet. i forgot all about the sweet smell that the old meph had. i only started seeing shards around 2011 if i recall
