Not all the time it isn't. Often a lot of what's being said during those arguments is being done so because of people feeding them shit in PMs. I believe B&W was referring to such inclusive of her point about PM campaigns.

Theyre often very intermingled imo, and in my experience.

You're saying that arguments start on the board because of shitty PMs that are already circulating? Or are you saying something else?

Genuinely, I can't fathom what you're getting at.

B&W's talking about malicious PMs that try to negatively influence one person's opinion of another, 'behind their back', so to speak.

I'm talking about taking interpersonal squabbles between two members to PMs rather than letting them dominate a thread.

I really fail to see how I'm being inconsistent here. You're completely misunderstanding my stance. That's all.

this post is making me feel gulity now, i sent marmz a pm about OTW because i was having trouble trying to fathom him. I dont normally send PMs like that, im not sure if i intended to stir up malice or not with that PM tbh. He did upset me a lot when i was struggling but as i now think i understand where hes coming from a bit better i no longer bare any grudge against him.

TBH that is fine and not what Marmz is getting at :) - it's the other way around is what annoys Marm's. What Marm's is getting at is when people send PM's to try and negatively effect/influence a persons view on another particular poster.

But it's more than that, he needs to quit painting this picture that on EADD we're all encouraging each other to stick needles into our jugulars. Because I don't think we are :?
 
He deserves not an inch of recognition/responding to. (Yeah I know this post contradicts what I'm saying.)

Unless you guys like feeding trolls you should just stop. Last I will say about it/him. Ignore it and it might go away. Or at least PM the relevant people to get rid of the problem. I think he feeds off all this personally.

He deserves all the abuse he gets. He COURTS abuse AND dishes it in spades. Abuse is the only language I'm sure he understands.

BTW I was born, raised and lived in Granby Street, Liverpool 8, with many a long stop there between my birth (there) and my graduation from Uni that I won't bother delineating for the eyebrow-raisers. Another professor from the Humanities faculty at my Uni came from about 2 streets down from where I was raised. To reiterate, it doesn't matter where the fuck you were born. It's what you do with what you've been given that counts.

Yeah, I thought it was a bit much, and motivated more on previous beef between them. I understand the need to wade in and give your two pennies worth tho, so maybe he just needed to vent and that was a convenient way of doing it.
