You are joking. Have you seen mods/x-mods post counts?

But yeah, I guess most of those posts are 'mod' posts, which are different. The one fine exception to this rule was Evad. I never felt he changed his style one bit.

And to be fair, Felix was pretty good too. Fuck I hope he doesn't see that.

As to the popular front for Jancrow - yeah, like it. That'll test the 'bluelight is not a democracy line'.

You do a lot of reading and sometimes arse with the control panels. It's like the fucking starship enterprise behind here =D

yup. and I'd hazzard the post count/registered ratio slows massively after being modded, and that the high counts are racked up mainly pre-appointment. I'd wager a shandy on it (since youre from the South ;p)

Kate's kinda going against type tho. no complaints thar. you can't shut ladymods up, even when theyre distracted by shiny buttons n stuff ;p
 
I reckon every mod has their moment where they've to balance what needs doing with general banter.
After time, it's slightly easier to pull off. But I wouldn't for a moment suggest that either Evad or Felix had / have (urg, don't like that) it easy.
Anyway, posts don't matter, it's content rather than amount (the old cliché).
 
Evad's postcount was (ughhh yeah monsta) epic. But then he was an epic mod/person in general <3 Mine was 2000 when I was modded in July, now look at it.. you can definitely be a mod and keep your post count stacking up! I've a way to go before I hit Evad's dizzy heights though..

Modding is fun. I definitely recommend it :)

It really does boil down to not how much someone posts, but to what they post.

And quality has always been a factor. Anyway, I'm going to shush now as I'm having rubbish thoughts.

Id love to do it in all honesty but It would be better to apply after all the drug uppy downyness has levelled out.
Hope theres still a role on the space ship for me then :)

You guys mean quantity rather than quality right??? either that or the indoctrination process involves something that makes you all deluded;)
 
Ive thought about it for other places ive chatted cherry but i dont see the big pallava about formally taking the role on. If you are chatting regularly then youre contributing ay??

i know from experience that i button down the hatches for ages at times and just dont want to talk..cant talk.. cant type.. So wouldnt want to committ.

i wouldnt want to let people down.

You'd be a worthy contender too, what with the wisdom and insight you've picked up in the extra decade-or-so longer than me you've been kicking about. Most of it seemingly gathered the hard way, may I add. ;)
 
I have seriously considered, and I'm grateful that both you guys, for whom I have much respect would say that.

But I'm still a little too prone to going off on one, I'm really working hard on it maybe once I manage to mussel my meaningless barking which breaks out from time to time I'll make an application. There's always time and I'm not trying to fix this stuff I'm actually doin it now "tryin" is for losers ;).

I've come long way in the last 12 months but theres still a few ruff edges that I think preclude an application this time around, but watch out for for the next opportunity.
 
Ahh good luck to everyone who applies. I can't think of any EADDer who wouldn't make for a great mod...seriously ;)


Oh the 15 second refresh rule does not apply to staff. That alone is worth applying for =D
