EADD Ibiza 2014 thread

No way. Wait till about 3am when the drinkers leave, and Pacha on a Friday with Digweed will have an amazing atmosphere. But I don't like trance anyway

What do you listen to? I've been out of the techno scene for a while, I used to listen to House, DnB, Jungle and come down with some trance
 
If you have a frock and your Ascot hat on the beach you may get a few odd looks - but in general no.

We did the same, we were supposed to just be drinking so nobody was dressed. Got free armbands, the pills came out and off we went - nobody cares.
 
jetting tomorrow afternoon =D this weekend's shaping up rather nicely. Land -> Hotel/dump bags -> taxi across island to get spangled at Zoo project -> back again + further spanglage at Sankeys -> sleep -> up, bit of brekkers - > get further spangled at bora bora -> maybe climb on a table -> gurn our way over to We Love at space - > leave and wander up PDB beach at 8am wondering what planet we're on -> sleep -> up and repeat%)
 
Pacha aint that bad when the whole club gets opened with all the sections and a different clientele. FMIF get really cramped though. Its just that there are better clubs in Ibiza. Why go to a nightclub were you are pretty much forced to buy a table?

No dress code maybe Pacha are a little more strict overall most clubs doesnt really care. If you get balcony access to some clubs they usually have the demand that you are dressed in pants/jeans and not shorts as a guy.

Fucking hell i got cravings badly to go back =)

Wear whatever you like. You'll see scruffy fucks like me, well dressed folk and people dressed up in elaborate costumes. Leave the high heels at home though, eh? ;)

Haha, aye exactly that has happened to me a few times. Clubbing in shorts is much better anyway.

Managed to get away with it a couple times here when it's been an all day outdoor thing followed by an after-party in a club. Subby in shorts, looking like a dickhead, feeling like a boss %)

Did Luciano not have a night there last year or the one before? I'm sure I heard that was decent. I don't really believe that they wouldn't oversell it every night if they could, seeing as they apparently regularly do at Guetta, SHM etc.
 
^Luciano night at pacha was decent, was a few years ago though was the night spain won the world cup actually so the place was rocking (think it was under the vagabundos night), did find myself running into lots of ropes at times, still a lot of space to dance though wouldnt go otherwise, whats the point in buying a table, you have basically set yourself to sit down. T-shirt, shorts and shoes was fine, think they only said no flowery or swim shorts. (apparently flowery swim shorts must be worn only by the homeless or british, they had something against it anyway)

Said I wasnt going to go again but thinking maybe a long weekend early september, cheapo last minute deal in PDB. Ive done my fair share of times in San An when there was about 20 of us, and done a few PDB trips later on once have gotten to know the island. You wont find any other than british stayin in San An which says something really, maybe if youve never been before would stay there though not much to do in the day really the beaches are shit.

Cant beat PDB sitting outside bora bora.
 
I was at that Luciano night too, the night Spain won! I thought the atmosphere was really good on the dance floor, everyone spangled. On the right night, I like Pacha a lot. I'm going to the Insane closing, with John Digweed. I remember the renaissance parties in the 90s were the nuts too
 
Anyone ever seen the legend spider man at bora bora? Saw him last time I was there he was fucking off his tits, must be sweaty in there

Lots of reports of people getting arrested on the beach, in clubs etc mainly selling but also picking up people for possession, seems like they are running a bit of a clean up operation, or just trying to rid it of the "anything goes" attitude about blatant drug dealing.

Sunset strip, PDB beach and San An strip mainly but also people been arrested in sankeys and space.

Yes, was reading about this myself and I'm worried. Remember Spanish cops can look down your pants, etc.
 
Hey guys, just wanted to say hi and thanks for all the good info!
Myself and others are heading there next week from Australia and we would have had no body idea where to start without all your tips :-)
To say we are excited is a Fuckin understatement ha ha although this police crackdown makes me a little worried :p
Anyhow I'll keep reading and will let you know what we find etc once we are able to see our phone screens in focus again lol
 
when i use to go to ibiza regularly , every year for a week or so in mid season or there bouts the police would be all the place like a rash to make a 'point' i spose - most of the time as long as your not a complete clot you should be fine
