Check pillreports.com - pretty much what you should be taking (pill wise) is there. Avoid anything else - yeah you may a few great stamps but stick to what has been tested. MDMA is easy to obtain there but if your not taking a test kit and can get stamped pills dont bother (harder to fake pills than a random on the street giving you a bag of powder).

If your not a pill user and decide to buy some - take them in halves, give them an hour then see how you feel. PLEASE do not think - I dropped this 30 mins ago, cant feel anything and take another. Meeting friends is so easy, just be careful, some bars run buses to and from clubs - these are often more fun than sitting in a taxi alone. IF your getting any shit of a person in a club - look for a few people together and stand with them.

Don't worry about me wandering around wrecked on my own, I'm extremely careful about that kind of thing and am used to living in cities (London/Birmingham) where I've had to travel back after dark quite a few times. In terms of meeting people in the day though, how do you go about that? Just on the beach and in bars? I was kind of envisaging that most people stayed in bed all day recovering but I'm gathering that that isn't the case so much.

Annnnd lastly when is the best kind of time to go in terms of fun/value for money? I've got the next 4 months free pretty much so I can go any time. Still need to send off for a passport though which is shit don't know why the fuck it costs £80 just for a paper book but there you go!

My favourite time is to go in September - bit less crowded, but still busy and a lot cheaper (esp. if you want to stay in PDB).

Yes, try MDMA - totally different to coke. More empathy. First few times I had (supposedly) MDMA pills, I found them 'speedy' enough, though now (huge tolerance) I find it a bit mongy. But, yeah, first few times, you'd get those butterflies in your stomach, think "fuck, yeah" and either be running straight on to the dancefloor or up to someone to tell them THIS IS THE BEST THING EVER! Very few people aren't impressed with MDMA, especially the 1st few times. On the other hand, any coke experience has always been mildly to totally disappointing (for me). My first few times on pills remain my fave drug experiences; only my first few times on mephedrone coming close. Personally, I'd go for crystal MDMA rather than pills. (Buy from people you know are selling from the same spot every night - crystal MDMA has a specific look, and I'd be weary of anything that didn't come in decent 'rocks'.) A beginner could split a gram into 10 doses, maybe 20. In fact, 50mg should be enough to get a feel on your virgin dose. =D

You've said in another thread you like meph - meph and MDMA aren't that different to beginners, though big differences come out the more you do them.

I personally have never had an 'OMG' feeling with coke ! If I had the choice of coke or decent speed - give me the speed :D every time. MDMA <3 - wouldn't suggest a person doing 50 mgs and would personally say (based on my experience) that the 100mg region is the place to be! When your in a club environment, everyone having fun and you come up on MDMA - your the music, your the fun, your the vibe - the more fun your having = the more fun the other people are. There feeling the same :D -
 
Oh yeah I know all about waiting a decent amount of time to see if you feel anything from pills. Hearing you say that now reminds me of that bit in The Wolf of Wall Street where they were taking the quaaludes and didn't feel anything at first then took more and ended up absolutely fucked haha.

I've been wanting to try MDMA for a while, it sounds like I'll love it because I'm a big fan of the empathy side of drugs. It's probably my favourite effect really so it's probably strange that I like coke most considering that. I think it's a personality thing though - I've seen people say that coke is more 'arrogant' and self centred where as MDMA/drone are more about other people and I think that's about right - so as a very self confident person I'm more inclined to coke. Plus it was the first drug I ever tried :P You've never had an 'OMG' feeling with coke though? Have you not tried good stuff before or is it just not your kind of thing?

It sounds like Ibiza is going to be a perfect place to have my first proper MDMA experience - I was kinda holding off trying it down here because I didn't want to do it alone. I'd probably prefer to go for crystal MDMA simply because I like snorting stuff and I think it's just easier to dose but I'm up for trying pills as well (plus I love the way pills look, so colourful 8)). Is there any cross tolerance between MDMA and drone though - just asking because I have a reasonable drone tolerance atm so was wondering if I'd need more MDMA than the average beginner to get a good effect?

I should really wait and see what's happening with my student loan next year (long story) but tbh I can afford it so I probably will just book it once I've done some more research. September sounds good, one last blow out before I'm back at uni ;) One of my flatmates went in September last year actually thinking about it, I'll have to ask him what it was like.
 
IMO and IME a pill containing MDMA (or most 'reasonable' substitute substances) starts to come up in exactly 40 minutes. If it takes longer, you're either stuffed with food or got some odd substance. Benidorm, 2003 - there were two types of pills, one (most likely MDMA) that took the expected 40 minutes and another that took maybe 1.5 hours. In retrospect, I'm thinking this might have been something like PMMA. :( I did take one (once), think it was low dosed when it didn't kick in and took another after an hour, and ended up coming up very hard, though felt more sickly/off than MDMA.

Well, I may have given a person ~100mg on their first time and they found it very hard and it put them off the substance. My first dose was probably pretty low, taken in 1/2 (low-dosed) pills increments (on a full stomach) until I felt it. i reckon 50mg for a 1st timer in the right setting would bump them up a bit and give them a feel for the substance. You can always take more - you can't take less.
 
I generally need less than other people anyway because of how little I am. I'll definitely be taking a trial run before I actually go out to Ibiza anyway to see how I react to MDMA in the first place - don't think the best place for a first time is in a club/party environment just in case you panic or something. Better to be over cautious than get in trouble :P

IMO there's a cross tolerance between MDMA and cathinones (like meph and m1). Also, 1g of MDMA will last you ages compared to coke. To a beginner, the equivalent of a mild pill (100 - 125mg) should last you a good few hours (don't snort - dab or bomb) and two doses should be enough for a long Ibiza night. Much better value for money.
 
Yeah I'd heard that, just thought I'd check. I'll have to lay off the meph a bit before I go then. I expect MDMA to last longer than coke haha, 1g of coke doesn't hang around very long once it's in my hands (or rather, nose). What's wrong with snorting MDMA though? I'm sure I've heard about people doing it.

You can do it... & I've done it... but I would recommend seeing how you get along with bombing/dabbing first. I like snorting stuff but bombing MDMA just feels more 'right', maybe why MDMA comes traditionally in pills.

Get it before the club and take it back to your room. There you can either divide it into caps (emptied out paracetamol caps..) or put your lot for the night into a baggy to dab. Don't taste that nice, so for a beginner, caps might be best. Bear in mind, some clubs (Space at least) won't allow you drinks in the toilet - definitely don't dab unless you can wash down quickly!

(I used to be a precisely-dosed caps man, but maybe starting to prefer dabbing more now.)

Oh, with caps, it's good to have a FULL first dose (say 100g - 150mg), then have 1/2 of your full dose for boosters. Danger is you might want a full dose as soon as you sense the first full dose is wearing off and end up very fucked.

Hmm sounds like a good plan to me. Think I would definitely prefer caps, dabbing anything with a nasty taste sounds well... nasty. I like dabbing with coke, I just like the numbness really, feels weird :P Surely MDMA can't taste/smell worse than drone? Sometimes I actually struggle to snort it if I get a particularly er... fragrant batch haha. Why can't they make a drug that tastes like chocolate or something. 8)

Is it easy to get drugs into clubs? I'm guessing yes. Especially for girls probably aha, isn't everything easier for us.

I don't think they give a shit. The Zoo Project is the only place I've heard with severe searches. I'd attempt to get into a club in Ibiza already coming up - something I'd never do in the UK. However, I recommend taking the highest precautions you can - even though you probably don't need to.

One thing to know is that Spanish police (or bouncers) can give you intimate searches (like looking down your bra/pants) as they feel like it. Unlikely to happen to you, but it does happen.

They're more likely just to wave you in with no seacrh at all - even if you're obviously on it. It's only Zoo Project and some cops I've heard doing intimate searches. The cops out there have been known to beat the crap out of people for little reason too. It's a rare occurrence, but it happens! Even in a more liberal country like Spain, I'd always stay alert and take sensible precautions.
 
The cops, the policia local, are reasonably nice. It's the civil guard that'll boot fuck out you. I've seen them swinging batons at people's faces before, pretty brutal. Although in saying that, I've been to Ibiza a good few times with massive sqads of absolute idiots and no-one I know has ever had any bother from them, so I think you either have to be very unlucky or simply asking for it.
