Absolutely loving my UK hip-hop at the mo - Chester P, Akala, Lowkey, MC Righteous, High Focus peeps.. Fliptrix, Leaf Dog and Dirty Dike.. et cetera :) Can't decide which tunes to post so I won't tax my brain with that right now ;)

Tomorrow I'll have a think for my faves :)

Brighton is a pretty cool place. Maybe a tad nouveau riche and the cool, commutable "extension" of London. But I still like it. Mainly because there are decent places for vegetarians to eat. Even though I'm not a vegetarian, I like to think of myself as one. I trust you ate well, Marmz!

So like yeah like I really don't know what I think about the whole DF lot (Cruger is part of that scene) and UK battle rapping in general. I'm still formulating an opinion. But I do like this and it's got stuck in my head and I'm listening to it about five times a day at the moment. Excellent video and all.

I don't know where he's come from but a lot of work seems to have been done on his image etc already. All he talks about is getting his penis sucked, and given that he looks like Spud out of trainspotting crossed with Dappy that's a pretty unpleasant mental picture to be stuck with forty times in a three minute song.

His other shit is basically an attempt to be the UK OFWGKTA. Fuck him.

FFS... I was just taking the piss when I made this thread! They're just 2 idiots from the early 90's robbing low-esteemed teenagers of their pocket money.

(Though in fairness, in consideration their is a lot of talented hip-hop artists, and i'm currently hooked to the album doggystyle. So don't mean to disrespect those who genuinely enjoy their hip-hop.)
