fucking love that brimz, amazing. heard that beat awhile ago and didnt know what it was from. so soulful

Grime's shit 99% of the time. I can't stand the repetition, it's like Mike Skinner with a fucking stammer. You know, stuff which goes like:

I was in my ENDS in my ENDS you can't step to my ENDS cos that's where I live my ENDS talking bout my ENDS yes yes my ENDS what what my ENDS my ENDS my ENDS my ENDS my ENDS not your ENDS that's right my ENDS

fuck dat

Dan, have you ever listened to Cosmic Gypsies by Task Force, Braintax & Jehst? Have a listen to that, I think you might like it.

Actually tell a lie, i cant get into most of it. well the stuff ive heard anyway

Cheers mate i quite like that

check this out

Love that Foreign Beggars album, it's brilliant through and through. If you like that you might also like Yungun / Essa. Same sort of era, similar kind of style.

Don't knock Brimz (ha ha).

Dunno, I admit that I liked what you linked there more than most of the grime I've heard but I just don't like those repetitive rhyme schemes or the beats. I can't help but see it as teenager music- it doesn't touch me like hip hop. But I have never really rated any jungle or hardcore or whatever MCs either compared to what I see as real rappers. I don't think they've got the depth, and why should they- it's a different skill.
