Agree 100% and glad to see that others are seeing it the same way. I understand how fent makes its way to Canada but to Britain? Of course there are routes etc but no one asked for it, there was a healthy market for heroin and now suddenly people are dropping like flies, just as the harm reduction measures we all talk about have started to come into play. This is a kind of Malthusian population control I reckon.I've had the same concept.
A woman I speak to online who lives in the worst part of Canada (East side Vancouver near China town) said the same too. She used to work in a needle exchange and consumption room and she's seen the way Fent swept the city, She's heard people higher up in the company saying they are glad it's this bad as it'll remove the addicts!!!
The BBC had a piece on Opium and apparently in Afghanistan they have HUGE amounts of Opium stashed away, I'm NOT talking about Kilos here I'm on about TONS of the stuff. Apparently as opium ages it gets better and more powerful but I'm not sure if that's true, if more wise members of EADD know about this stuff let me know.
If that's the case why hasn't it been released onto the market?
There is no reason why there weird Chinese made drugs should be on the market in my view.

Heroin addicts scores Matter
That's always been how they justified it, when they justified it. But there are plenty of warlord types who still move it and the Taliban turn a blind eye. I'm talking about when it gets to these islands and suddenly all kinds of nasty shit is turning up in the gear.

That is true of course but it is more complex economically in this part of the world. In the US, their gear mostly comes up through the border via the cartels now and for them, manufacturing fentanyl is more productive, efficient and less costly than growing poppies, processing and then smuggling something that is a lot bulkier. Of course the gear we get has been coming mostly from Aghanistan and there are routes, agreements, cooperations that have been in place for a very long time. Afghan farmers most likely aren't going to start making fentanyl and the Taliban wouldn't allow it anyway unless they get desperate and basically copy the South American cartels (they do business with China and so could get the precursor chemicals in the same way, but its highly unlikely). So it is somewhere near the end of the supply chain where fentanyl is being added. I've heard of labs in the UK, I'm sure there are plenty all over Europe. If the European traffickers started to move away from heroin and do what the cartels across the pond have been doing, this could create a lot of problems. It is happening but its a slower process. It could stem from the European Cartels and the North and West African traffickers becoming closer to the big cartels in Mexico etc. - economically it could make sense to start ordering shipments of fentanyl and putting it on the street as "heroin", as a cut at first, given the sheer volume and of course the potency and, as you say, most addicts will take anything as long as it gets the monkey off their back. But is hard to say.
