Also,we should remember that the people who post here do not represent the cross section of heroin users across the country.Most serious bag heads have probably lost their computer/phone or tablet device so apart from an hour or 2 in the library,they have no internet access,so I think the 'bag-heads' you get here are generally not as out of control as the mainstream.For that,you would be better to look at stats from user led services.
They are an underclass that is very hard to infiltrate as the thing they have in common is an illegality.
How many people have their Christmas shopping done?-this,for example,is a question that would not apply to the average street drug user.they might be better asked,have you done your Christmas shopping(meaning the 5 fingered discount-saving up gear for Christmas is way too far ahead for most to even consider-most(like me) cannot hold onto anything in the house for longer than a few days at max.You know it is there,mocking you-grrrrrr.
I am actually going christmas shopping for presents with my mom tomorrow-she will look after the presents until the big day so no returning items.For a while now,I have been showing massive control.In my bank account,is the deposit from my last house and I have kept that there for 18 months now-11 of which were in prison but I could have gotten it-but i might borrow from it a little but never really SPEND it-one thing I have always prioritised is the roof over my head-maybe I am not a real junkie-that would be nice.
As someone asked earlier in the thread,who would WANT to be a junkie?well,I know of one person alone in this group who does WANT just that.Scary shit.

KKattastic, I posted on here from my own Internet connection with a gram a day habit.
I am not dick waving here & brimz etc have had bigger habits but I find your post slightly off.

I am gonna stick my neck out here and say,take a walk through your city centre and take a look at the junkies there-I am pretty certain they would not be in a position to not have a computer that doesn't get pawned every other week when the rattle starts circling
I would hope I am wrong,but I really do doubt it
 
Take a walk through the city centre & 99% of the junkie's won't have a puter to pawn .

There is a huge disparity between street junkie's & folk who can afford a Dongle Internet Access Let alone fukin Virgin Fibre Optic :|
 
Ah yes the city centre junkies selling big issues, begging, or whatever yes they won't. But there a plenty of junkies who do have internet.... TBH I think we all actually agree on the whole?

Unless we have a difernt idea of junkie. I call addicts junkies which some people object to. But i have grown up with it being fine to call a heroin addict a junkie....meh

All I know is I got an internet connection! But I'm not a Baghdad!
 
most people I know who've had a long term heroin addiction myself included have at one time or another been worthy of the "junkie" description.
At the moment I'm fortunate enough to have a stable job , good home etc....so I'm now someone who uses heroin . In years gone by I've been penniless, homeless not a pot to piss in .Was I then a junkie ? yes , I was a raving baghead who'd sell his soul for a bag .I couldn't dream of having a dongle , now ...well I've got virgin fibre optic broadband with BT sport thrown in for free ! ;-)
It's all circumstance IMO you just don't know what's around the corner .
 
Ahh 3rd time to write this post Internet connection I'm in a port signal location..

@kktastic - a few days that's self cjntrol. A few hours for me if I'm lucky! That's why I tend to just buy 1 bag more often than not as if I bought a teenth or half teenth I know it would kill my pocket as I'd smoke it far too quick!


In regard to the the drama earlier with Class-A and Boddha - maybe Class A should have qualified her statement about snorting being a waste by also stating to think lung and hard about why u wanna do this?.. But Boddha your reply was way OTT to say someone deserved a place in hell for that? None of us like to see another person go down that road but 'let he who is without sin cast the first stone' and all.. I do regularly enjoy your posts tho Boddha

And SammyG had a good point with regard to the fact the user had already bought the H so what is the likely hood of him not using it eventually - I doubt very much.
 
Im glad I haven't touched a needle in 2 weeks at least, this gear is pretty sweet or else it's helped by the 8mg Xanax and 10 yellows from earlier lol but I think it's decent stuff.. Funnily the first part was grand ran with no problem - the second few scoops I put on the foul bubbled a little at first but is running fine now? It's been a whole since I noticed that effect,m - but was all out of the same bag and I'm fucked.. Could he a big cut in it? but that would be strange as it only happened to maybe 1/4 if the 0.25 bag? Could that part have been wert carrying the bag where it would have for a little wet?.. Thanks guys

I don't know man the gear coming this way from Dublin has been fairly steady over the last while.. The stuff
tonight has me goofing good and I've never nodded easily.

What seems odd to me is I was IB for about two weeks then I gave my self a break for a week or 10 days and went back smoking.. The smoke last week was decent but tonight it's fucked me up..

So that brings me to my question - could a tolerance develop from IV use over 2 weeks because I've gone back to smoking now and my tolerance is quite low it seems.. Unless this gear is very very strong which I doubt - J guess it would depends how much/how often and what quality the gear your IVng is to dictate on a tolerance

I read before somewhere that in the Netherlands they will call anyone who takes any drug in 'excess' a 'junkie' not just heroin..alcohol/cold/weed etc.. Not sure if it's true tst they say it but a nice idea not to differentiate
 
Looking at drugs inc. on you tube and noticing they sat the US dealers drug of choice id PCP(angel dust)
My understanding of this shit is that it is crazy strong hallucinogenic stuff and it really flips people out
also is made from things like petrol and kerosene-you seem to dip a cig in it before smoking the cig and all we see is pics of the cops dealing with happy,fucked up guys with a lotta machoism
they always say 'don't get high on your own supply but they will relax on a day off with some of this or some 'drank' or 'lean'
this is basically a drink with phenergan in(my mum used to give me phenergan for travel sickness)-was always nice and mellow

On the contrary; I couldn't agree more.
The financial hardships borne of prohibition/addiction make slaves of many.
Then again, living a materialistic existence isn't everybody's cuppa.

In all seriousness though, there was clearly nothing wrong with me saying that snorting is a waste. IT IS A WASTE. Don't really see where I mentioned mainlining though, it would be quite odd of me to suggest shooting up when I don't even IV myself. You just sound like another irate keyboard warrior deliberately misconstruing what I have to say for the sake of having an excuse to take out your personal problems online.
