Truth is, most people who try it do not become dependant

I don't really remember ordering it tbh, must have been drunk or benzo'd, but it arrived this morning so I thought I might as well give it a shot. However I don't have the stuff to smoke or IV. I know it's heroin and it's meant to be really addictive and I appreciate the concern bodda, but surely I won't get addicted from 0.10. I've never done any opiates so I'm probably diving in the deep end, I got told I'd probably have a bad time and get loads of nausea.
Now that is a bold statement, do you have any links or research studies to back that up ? I dont mean to sound rude, like I dont believe you, just that i would be interested to see more about that. Even if that is the case im pretty sure H is the last thing i need to be bringing into my life, and that it truly would set me on the road to ruin.
Up until now the consenusus had seemed to be that some people can get away with chipping for years, but eventually most of them go on to become dependant.
According to the Institute of Medicine of the National Academy of Science, 32 percent of people who try tobacco become dependent, as do 23 percent of those who try heroin, 17 percent who try cocaine, 15 percent who try alcohol and 9 percent who try marijuana.

Dunno what was so confusing, but try this:
Hexagram will probably be around heroin again, if hexagram likes it, hexagram will probably take it again (I know, I know I don't know you).
Hexagram will probably want to take heroin if hexagram is coming down from something that will make him feel like utter shit when he is actually down from said thing.

Oh, heroin really is as bad as everyone makes out. Opiates work by perfectly mimicking the body's natural pain-relieving and "feelgood" hormones, so the high you get from them is pretty much by definition as high as it is possible to get. And it takes a cast-iron will to resist that. Also, unlike other drugs, breaking off never gets any easier. During the comedown, your body is temporarily unable to manufacture enough pain-relieving hormones to cover your background pain -- and the only thing you can do is ride it out.I know it's heroin and I should be careful, but to be fair, in school teachers would go on about how bad ecstasy, cocaine and all the rest were and I've done them without getting addicted or ruining my life, maybe heroin isn't as bad as everyone makes out too.
But by the same token, they can just as easily get sensible harm reduction advice. It's that double-edged sword thing again .....I guess one of the bad things about the internet is that anyone can get anything they like, you don't have to be in certain social circles or know the right people to get drawn into hard drugs, anyone with a bit of curiosity can get hold of them if they want too.
Quality in oxford is variable, whites are 5 or 6/10 at best (although there is a blue one up the road in Banbury which is)
And most darks are a decent 7/10
