If ever we should need such a thing, we can save money by utilising the moon. It's big, round, and full of pock marks.

:D

I fear a responsible adult might soon come along and get NASA involved to launch us into the Sun for our flagrant derailment of this thread. At least it's not a harm reduction thread :p

The search term 'space arse' didn't deliver the goods so I searched 'arse moon' instead.

It's so much easier to internet these days. Back in the day, this speed of back and forth would not be possible; one would need to find the component parts of the end product and toil for a few minutes in MS Paint to maintain an acceptable level of toilet humour. The adage of, ''if you can imagine it, it exists on the internet'', is becoming truer by the day.

Progress %)

Ahem... Enough of my space arse projections thank you.

Crackin' weather for us al fresco growers at the mo' - hot sunshine all day everyday for a week so far... 8o (at least in the NW UK)

Watch out for slugs though peeps - there's a bumper crop of the little fuckers this year as the particularly mild winter allowed them to carry on breeding throughout. I've seen loads of pale white baby slugs (just like my cock - beat ya to it Consumer ;) ) so far already, so grow in pots and get that copper tape around them pronto...

Lets describe my current and first grow as thank fuck I got 10 free seeds and didn't plant the others all at once.

This due to slugs, deer and a shit load of rain.

I'll find the photos later, but anyone growing stuff needs to make an electric slug/snail fence using a 9v battery and a wire circuit.

I don't need to attend to my garden at all now which is great for a lazy fuck like me.

I know I can't smoke, vape or parachute roses, but the flowers are phenomenal this year after a chilly wet spring.

Despite constant rain and almost a complete lack of hot or even warm sunlight, my Australian Bottle Brush has almost miraculously started flowering. I'm quite astonished how green and healthy the leaves look, and also how sturdy the main stem looks. Go BB, i want you to be covered in red 'bottle brushes' by the end of the summer. Thanks.

The fern is completely out of control, Im gonna start calling it a giant fern, it must like all the rain that it gets. There's no way i could 'trim' it without butchering fuck out of it, so im just gonna leave it be.

Very nice MDB. That fern is amazing! Are you aware of the weird life cycle of the fern, and why it requires damp conditions? If not, Google it and be prepared to be amazed/freaked out.

Interesting thanks Fubar. My yard is South facing, so when the sun actually shines, it gets baked all day, and not a single frond has ever turned brown on this fern. Maybe it's some kind of super adaptable fern or something. I also have a couple in my front 'garden', although the term 'garden' is stretching it a lot, regrettably i was too lazy to dig too deep down into the clay soil, but the website i just read said ferns dont mind clay, although every year so far those 2 have had many of their fronds turn brown and die, this year i gave them both loads of plant food, real plant food not Mephedrone and they have stayed green and are looking good. I wouldnt be wasting something rarer than hens teeth on a couple of ferns.
