EADD Events Forum: What do you want done with it?

So us mods and admin have been having some very serious discussion about the merits of our events forum.

Basically we all say it's a waste of server space and should kill the forum and squeeze the contents into an events thread here in EADD. But we won't do that unless you guys want that, so roll up and vote on the future of our beloved events forum.

I reckon it should go the way of the dodo, I can't say I've looked in there in years and in the event of a social occasion or event or whatver it'd receive more attention being in the main forum. I reckon it being a single thread would get a bit confusing, maybe meet up-y stuff could have a wee tag or something in the title to distinguish it from all the other stuff in here?

If so I recon it should still be a forum, but a sub-forum option within EADD .. exactly the same as archives is. ... but not just a single thread. I recon that's a silly idea

Actually no, we should also have a poll to close down the lounge and other random parts of BL fuck it, everything but EADD.

Close Australian Drug / Event Discussion because I occasionally click on it by accident when I mean to come here.
Close Ecstasy Discussion because it'll upset Foley.
Close The Lounge because it's even less good than the EADD events forum.

I don't use it, doesn't look like anyone does much. Looks like it would fit on floppy disk. Therefore, how is it a waste of server space?

edit: Put it on a floppy disk and I'll keep it in my coat pocket and if anyone has any events to add to it I'll find a floppy drive and add the events to it then eject the disk and put it back in my pocket.

What would help the smaller, cooler events? The floppy disk in your pocket idea? Or deleting the rest of BL (possibly other sites too).
