I've read the last couple pages and seems the price has really shot up in the last couple of 12-18 months since I last bought some.

I've recently been offered an 1/8 of "flake" for 250 quid, is this the normal rate now in the uk??

No idea about "flake" but bog-standard coke is going for £100 on the 1/8 round here at the moment. Was given a coupla lines a few days back and was gobsmacked to discover it actually wasn't too bad - much better than most of the usual shite. Definitely coke and whatever the cut was it wasn't active so can't complain really at that price.

Im from the preston area so beak is always going to be cheaper up north i guess? Plus not to mention how well you know the dealer, if you don't know them they will take you for a ride, I know I would, but if you know them pretty well, or go to them regularly they may start knocking down the price, I know the guy I go to does, which is always good to see, like a loyalty card supermarkets hand out ha ha

Standrad beak: depending on quantity bought if its a big(ish) amount say 6g it works out at 20 a g, 1 on its own £30 a g and an 1/8 £80

Flake: Bought it most weekends for the past 1.5 months from the guy i get the above from, when I first got it, it was absolutely MIND BLOWING!!! We paid £60 a g, then a few weeks later it dropped in quality, but picked some up last week and while in the bag barely pressing the stuff it all crumbling, was a nice fluffy white colour too

Also there has been some £80 a g stuff knocking about that I'm yet to sample but 3 mates of mine who are no lightweights went 1/3rds on 0.5g £40 for the non mathmatitians, and all 3 were wired and had trouble getting to sleep for a few hours afterwards and again 2 other mates went halves on 0.5 only doing 2 lines each in 7 hours and were wired.

It's all well and good having quantity, but I believe when it comes to charlie and this provided if you can afford it, always get the best stuff, "QUALITY OVER QUANTITY!!!

Pretty much but depends on what it's cut with. Some cuts (benzocaine, lidocaine, etc) wash up too so you get a decent sized rock of shit quality. Other cuts won't wash up so you just get hardly anything back but it may (possibly) be better quality. Can't make a silk purse...

that chart is for the uk not us.. trust me.. i dont even like coke.. but the shit we used to get was pure fire.
I was addicted to OC's when that coke was goin around so i only did it once in a while but i know it was potent shit.

And where were you? America def gets the crazy shit. In california You get the butter at 100 an 8b. 5% thats crazy! I know over seas (where Im at now) ireland is a hub and gets good.

Rocked up means nothing. You can get a rock of pure cut. I Rather rock my powder and clean it out ob the same time. Grab a keef press put your powder in there and put a couple drops of acetone in than press and wait a half hour. After that you gotta let it dry at least a day but than you have a convenient lil rock instead of messy powder. The acetone washes it out but aholes can use something else to rip people off. Dont trust the rock from a dealer though it means nothing.

Yep, cocaine doesnt really change colour in bleach.
Infact pure cocaine will sit on top of the bleach for a good 10+ seconds before it even begins to sink into the bleach.

Also cocaine doesn't dissolve in acetone.
The problem is that most of the cuts these days won't dissolve in it either. (Look up levamisole for more info)

You need to start out with expensive high grade coke before you should even contemplate any sort of cocaine purification.

Unless you're willing to spend thousands of pounds and go though the hassle of obtaining all sorts of chemicals; it's simply not worth it.

You're right.
Acetone does clean it - it's just most of the stuff in the U.K has been stepped on so many times, you'll need a whole plethora of chems to clean that shit up properly.

I had some beautiful stuff the other day. A guy gave me like 50mg of peruvian flake, It was pure white and like putty. Lines are not powder but clumps of coke! Best stuff I've ever had, better than coke I've EZ tested at 4-5 stars!! Not cheap tho

Of course it's from the uk, that's what I said, the chart said and what he was talking about too. An interesting factoid from the bbc article was that fully one third of all street seizures were less than 9% purity. That's really the worse in my mind than even the as low as 5% or 20% avg. numbers are. (<---- UK numbers!)

I can't find a nice chart like that for the US, but I found some numbers from 2007 from the DEA giving STRIDE and NFLIS seizure test numbers. All averages included both wholesale (10oz-kg++) and retail so they'll be much higher than actual coke people buy. STRIDE showed purity dropping from 67% in jan07 to 59% in jun07, and NFLIS had 56% in the winter and 53% in the summer.

They don't have purity only on a retail basis, but they do quote the average cost for a gram of pure (ie cost/purity). Since I can't talk price here I have to dance around it, but using their numbers and knowing pretty common prices for repress on the west coast I come up with single gram purities of about 35%-40%. I almost want to say that seems high in my limited experience. I used an even more common price for an 8 ball at first to figure it, but it came out so low at 20% I figured I'd do it with grams.

When it comes to numbers and info put out by the DEA remembere that those numbers represent only a 5% at most amount of what is actually on the street or available if you will.The DEA sizures make up such a small amount of the overall cocaine that honestly they are only accurate about the purity of the small amounts that are seized...I know for a fact that cocaine in the US averages 90-95% pure for kilograms and retail purity is 60-80% avaerage in most urban and even rural areas.I know this becuase i have relatives who have been in the business of cocaine for 30+ years and i know people who can test the purity rather easily to as accurately as within1% plus or minus the exact number...and the average for reatil amounts varys but in my area of the country the average for "street coke" is 65-70% and 80% for more expensive "grade A stuff" bought by the wealthy users...I have not seen a quantity below 100 grams that did not test 80% pure or higher...most kilos among my "family" and ther eassocites test to b e 95% on average witha rang eof 90% to 97% ...So governments lie,,and there "facts are only based ona small percentage of whats acctually out there"

the coke scene seems to of improved quite a bit recently. really nice coke has been going for £60/70 a gram. it was £80/90 for the same quality not very long ago.

theres also average coke for £50 a gram thats actually not to bad as well. its only repress but it smells and tastes like coke and has a decent buzz. unlike the really nice coke its sold for much less when brought in bulk. its £120 for an eigth and gets cheaper the more you buy. the decent £60 stuff dosnt get any cheaper unless you buy alot.

Agree with that, quality seemed to really have dropped (compared to 3 years ago +) in last year or 2 but recently have found some OK Shniz about...

Stuff going £60 that have seen has been real good at times although still only 0.5 - 0.7 so pretty darn expensive really, particularly the few times it has turned out not as good...

Part of me is glad that the quality is so low these days; it means I stay well away from it. The best quality stuff I had consistently was over ten years ago, through a guy in north Manchester who based his supply and sold it but kept a few g's soft for his mates. So my introduction, completely by accident, was to basing-quality gear! Of course, once powder really went mainstream around the turn of the decade he started to cut the stuff himself and sell it on, with the inevitable drop in quality. We carried on buying it of course.

Still far better than the crap which eventually flooded the market though. I'd say with a reliable and trustworthy source, decent stuff is out there - if you pay the extra cash. Finding an honest coke dealer though, that's got to be a challenge...

Tried some lovely coca last night, not sure of the price, as my lady friends seemed to hypnotize the bloke into giving them a couple of gram's for free .

Very small lines were enough to have you rushing for a good 45 minutes (estimate). Will definately be getting some more (hopefully free ) in the near future. Will report back on the price, although i am sure it will be £60+.
