EADD Cocaine Megathread - v. Cocky Coked Up Cunts Talk Coked Up Crap

i got to try quite a bit over xmas and i never want to do it again!!!... i think it was good but it got to the point that of extreme paranoia.. thing were happening which wern't happening, people talking about me, i was convinced i'd had a psychotic break.. never experienced anything like that before except on psychedelics or...hmm.. mdpv??

i don't remember feeling chatty at all.. very, very withdrawn, incapable of holding a conversation etc...

that sounds like the horrible repress shit goin about, dosnt make you chatty, makes you feeel edgy aor a little paranoid some times. good coke makes you very chatty and you end up talking shit for hours with the right people.

ive seen real coke make people paranoid but thats after abusing it for months tho.

hmm.. i can't begin to describe the terror going on in my head at the time :(
coke is the one thing i've never really had access to.. give me a nice line of speed any day tho!

Yeah, what is in the repress that has that effect..?

You get a kind of charge for a couple of mins, then just anxiety, edgy feelings, not pleasant at all....

The last couple of times I had it I didn't see why they bother putting even 5% coke in it, they might as well save themselves the few quid they spend on that, it's not like anyone tests coke anyway....

Ah well, it was the declining quality of "coke" that got me out of a 4-5 year habit anyway, so I guess I got that to be grateful for...lol, still wouldn't refuse any decent if it came along though8)

im pretty sure alot of coke hasnt even got 5% coke in it now its just totally made up crap.

your geting some pretty decent stuff at the moment if your geting 30% i woud say. im still not intrested tho i want at least as much coke as other crap in my coke. 50% pure woud still piss me of tho which is why i dont bother.
 
I have a question... As Shakemarker says, I too wish it was 3-4 years ago. Coke was so much better quality, even your average street dealer was getting half decent stuff. We were getting very good stuff for £50 a g back then, crystalline rocks and lumps of flakey goodness. Didn't even really appreciate how good it was. And when it was short notice even the twats round here could get decent repress for £40 or so.

So my question, we know why the prices of MDMA has rised recently. Lack of raw materials, less production, RC's.... many other factors and the fact it wasn't around means people are simply willing to pay more.

What I'm wondering is why has coke gone up in price? According to SOCA the wholesale price for cocaine went up conciderably a while back.. But why did this happen? And why did 90%+ of coke become utter shite 2years ago? I'm not saying it was all brilliant before by any means.. but there was much more of the quality stuff around and even the repress actually had a % 3 years ago. There was obviously crap bits too, there always would have been.

The only reason I can see for this hike in price with coke is because they are greedy as fuck and putting less and less in it, so this makes the good stuff worth more? But then when you think about it, it doesnt explain why its costing more wholesale really.. Unless they just know it can be sold for more, so charge accordingly?

Most of the stuff going around turns red/orange on contact with chlorine bleach.
You can tell straight away by the smell it's shite.
We call it 'pharmy gear' around here - because it smells like a 100% synthetic drug made up in a pharmacy.

The shite isn't even water soluble.
 
Yeh but what I'm asking is why did the price of cocaine rise so much? We kind of know why MDMA did.. But I've not heard any explanation as to why cocaine went up so much in price?

Higher demand + same production levels = increase in price, decrease in quality.

Is the demand really any higher than 4 years ago? I think not.. Alot of people don't even bother with the coke now because its so crap. And alot more RC's etc around. Many of the coke head people I know have given up or only do it now and again now when theres decent stuff to be had..

Just a snipped of it, but I'd say its more to do with big busts after reading a bit about it. Theres been quite a few massive scale bust recently.. Those articles were a while ago too. I'd imagine price has risen even more now and quality is even worse :\

Globally there is a higher demand but the production levels are at the same levels. You could even consider that the coke cartels work like OPEC. Don't think locally. Coke follows cash, so Russia, China etc have had an increase in use.

@Kid I wanted to undertake a project at uni for the elasticity of coke. Narrow minded professor thought I was crazy...
 
Very true Ghostface, I hadn't thought of that. That will have a large part to do with it. Increased demand, same production and large level busts all add up to make a more expensive less pure product I guess.

Cool idea for a project aswell man, pity the professor wasn't a member of the cartel! :D

I would think that these places are easier to get the stuff into, so less chance of a bust so therefore more is sent over. I wonder if anyone knows if quality and prices are changing in russia and china.

One thing I can also think of is that anyone who really knows their coke is starting to shy away from the cheap stuff (while dealers are cutting it more to keep the price the same) they go onto other highs and you are then left with less people demanding a quality product and accepting what they can get even though its rubbish.

I've got a few friends who have started doing it and I had a 'taste' and it was rubbish but to them it was the best stuff they have had.

to sum it up I suppose the baseline of what is good is starting to decrease.

I would def rather the banging stuff was cheap and plentiful so I could easily get it and have a bash at the pub at weekends. :D
