Closure is inevitible... which is such a shame. If religious folks had enough of a fucking clue about what they believe to actually back any of it up or be able to answer even the most basic questions about said beliefs they'd be less of a joke. And not even a funny one half the time.

Fully supported by me, I have some very strong views on religion, Christianity and spirituality and have done my very best to stay out of this as its pointless.

I suggest Yellow opens a thread in Philosophy and Spirituality if she feels she has further points she wants to discuss, that seems fair to me, rather than dump chinup with this pile of tripe

I think the answers given by MSB & the debate entered into by him have been reasonable enough (as reasonable as something I wholeheartedly do not believe in can get anyway). Unfortunately that has been totally overshadowed by the rantings, hatred & sheer bile of a nutter & the attempts to back up some horrible views with "...but it's my religion :?". Might as well start a Protestant vs Catholic thread next (fuck the pope) ;)

It has been amusing though.
 
PTCH: MSB's answers have been reasonable if a tad wishy-washy. Don't really see how religion and charity have much in common really but at least he's laying off the gaybashing a bit and has steered well clear of justifying rape.

Thing is, I'd genuinely be interested to get some answers to the whole religious person thought processes... but utter lunacy and jaw-dropping hate-speech is just plain unavoidable in any religious debate cos most religionists are cunts with no hope of salvation. Titter.
