Actually Shammy, you've always come across as warm, kind, friendly man. You used to wield a Modstick (Crook?) and tend to the BL Flock. Issuing sermons on 'heavenly visions' in PD Discussion and Trip Reports. I know you used to have rather flowing locks, do you have a beard now perhaps?

The similarities are mounting. ;)

That's not how I read it blunts, I got the impression he was saying christians volunteering for youth groups counts as charitable contributions to a secular cause. Obviously that's dung.

The religious are even more likely to give blood!

I was a bit curious about this one seeing as the good book forbids it and lots of christians refuse point blank to ever give blood.

The faith i needed at the time wasnt wooly.. or sweet pt I can assure you .. It tore me in two...

There are wooly sweet times. and times that you just lean on doctrine etc..

Please dont imply that Im into rules.. I'm fairly certain you are joking.. you must be.. Im not a rule person. I'd say ive submitted to Him finally but its been a torturously long drawn out wrestle with angels and demons I assure you .. He won. but set me totally free.

Arghh.. im not a slave to anything pT least of all dogma or religion.

If anything Id like to be a bondservant.. ( a slave thats been set free but chooses to remain in masters house ).. You could
recognise them by a single hoop earring..

Embracing the notion then adopting the backstory sounds a bit like digging a band 'before they were famous' even though all your CDs look suspiciously new, but is it wrong? I don't know. Is it even what YPDH is doing? Again I don't know, but it's interesting to watch, and think about.

You've missed the point. I was re-iterating the notion that you don't really believe in this pish, or don't really know enough about it to believe. There was a point in your life (you've said this yourself) where you needed something to turn to, & you turned to religion. You didn't learn about Christianity & decide it was the one for you, you thought "Fuck me, I need something to help me through this, HELLO RELIGION, you'll do the job!!!". You're now trying to justify it in ways that make no sense.

I'm surprised you've not been pulled up more on some of the things you've said with regards to women, with regards to what you've just said about slavery etc. That doesn't offend me, but I can see how it could easily offend someone else, so I'm not going to bother my arse too much. I'm pretty sure if I had hit out with some of the statements you have in this thread I would have received a torrent of abuse, but people are walking on eggshells around you as you do seem slightly unstable.

Fuck it, might be harsh but it needs said. If you were a different poster on this board who didn't seem to have such obvious mental issues you would have been torn to shreds for some of the things you have said. A few people have, rightly so, called you on it but even then I feel that they are holding back for the same reasons that I am to a certain extent - it would feel like kicking a defenseless animal.



Jancrow - What if you got to like a band based on hearing them now, then went back & listened to their back catalogue of utter horrendous shite yet still proclaimed that you liked it because you liked what you heard at first? Would you do that? Would that be ok? Would you lie to yourself & others that you liked the old shite just because you like the new shite?
