I have 3 cats but do like dogs too, but I don't have the time to commit to walking them and picking up their poo, oh whens its warm and steamy oh boke must be awful, I would spew all the time, my cats are outdoor cats but when they were kittys and had to stay in I often spewed when cleaning out their litter tray! Great double whammy shit and spewing to clean up!

My mate has a proper lazy big golden retriever type dog. Big fucker just lies about all day. I've never seen it move. I've seen it lazing about different parts of his house but I've never seen it traveling between these places haha. Most dogs get all excited if you grab a lead & it knows it's going a walk, this big guy just looks at you as if "Aaaaaaye mate, that will be fucking right. Walk yerself! I'm good here."

If/when I get a dog I'll just be training it do a sneaky shite when no-one's looking. Fuck picking it up. The streets need more dog shite anyway. Back when I was a kid there was dug shite every 20 paces, kept you on the ball looking out for them. Kids these days can just stroll down the street staring at their iPhones or whatever & not even have to think twice about skiting through a big sloppy dug shite. Bring back the road jobby!!!

My mate went on a big rant to a crowd of slightly posh cunts, who were innocently waiting on a taxi, about how Dennistoun is the road toaly (another word for jobby) capital of Europe, how when the Commonwealth Games is in Glasgow the runners won't be able to break any records because they'll be too busy dodging shites in the street etc until he eventually asked one bird if she wanted to come back to Dennistoun with us to see his jacuzzi. "Aye pal, I've got a jacuzzi.... well, I say jacuzzi. I mean sink. But it's got hot & cold taps, the lot! Fire a bit of fairy liquid in there & we'll be jamming!"

Its when they crawl underneath cars at night and sit on the cooling engine that the problems really start, believe me a cat with it's tail all twisted up into the fan belt of a fiesta is a thing to be reckoned with.

This happened at an old work place, I was leaving work and all of a sudden the girl in front stopped her car in the middle of the road just outside the office and ran to the verge screaming "there's a cat under the bonnet" I thought she's d properly lost it until we opened the bonnet and there is was poor thing. Even thought I'm not keen I did try and remove it but it was having one of it, by this time I'd been joined by 3 other burley engineer types all looking at the cat and thinking of excuses as to why they couldn't possibly try and remove it.

The the campest bloke ( I'm pretty sure he was gay but I'll say camp because he was, very) in the company turns up and calm as you like untangles the cats tail from the fan bely and removes the cat whilst it tries to scratch and bite him with all the effort it can muster.

I voted both. I'm not choosing one or the other.

we had dogs in our family from a very early age, and my mum's now on her fifth. my brother's on his third dog and my auntie's & cousins have had about three others I can think of. so that's eleven family members who were canines. it's safe to say that nearly all of my life, I've been a 'doggie person'.

however, I am now the co-owner of two cats. I didn't use to rate cats much and thought they were a bit arseholeish compared to dogs, but that's not the case at all. I totally get cats now.

you can take a dog down the beach and throw sticks for it, and you will always get bored first. a dog fucking loves pretty much everything, it doesn't matter what it is, it'll agree with you. you could show him an empty fag packet and he would be delighted, saying 'that's amazing! and so interesting! and I fucking love you! what are we gonna do next?!'

a cat would roll its eyes and say 'aye, what's your point? fuck you. either throw it somewhere for me to catch, or FEED ME. preferably FEED ME'.

you have to earn a cat's trust & respect, which takes ages, but it's well worth it. I love cats too now. it took me a long time to realise that they weren't rubbing up against my legs & being friendly because they liked me, haha. how naive of me. :D

I've never had a dog, but I fucking love cats and I always will do. Only thing bad about them is that they eventually die. They're cold as ice, yet when you bond with them they show you love and affection and they also vibrate which is cool.
