Grow up learn to do what you do and take the consequences on the chin. You can be a bad guy, but at least be good at it. I'd honestly have more respect for someone who scammed and outright admitted it than this, which is just really, really pathetic.

I think he's doing it attempting to rub salt in the wounds. Unfortunately he doesn't understand the demographics of BL are different to topix and most people don't even know who he is lol.

I'm going to split the monies between World Aid and the RNLI. Maybe a third charity, I don't know. Hopefully it'll do some good. :)
 
Seen as I'm a nice guy I've got a hot tip for anyone here with spare Bitcoin: buy safecoin.

Safecoin is the ONLY other cryptocurrency that isn't just a clone of Bitcoin. It's got it's own protocol and doesn't work through the block chain like everything else. I bought in when they were still vouchers, it's gone up in value 300% over the last month. And they're not going to be released for about another week I'm hearing - the coins aren't even out yet.

People shouting the potential value of this after will be a $1-3 per coin. You can pick up 5000 right now for about £250.

I know there are a few people here who invest Raas is one, so hopefully some of them read this or are already aware. I feel the potential with this coin is there to even dethrone Bitcoin a couple of years down the line, as it offers something new and improved.
 
Careful sid, usually the people shouting about potential are getting ready to dump them. Safecoin even sounds like a pump and dump.
I'd be selling that shit before it launches.
Even if the suckers think its a future the investors will burn it when the time comes.
 
Have either of you gents actually looked the protocol of the coin? I've got a few mates who are btc sellers and all of them have bought into safecoin long ago. I first bought in last year in summer.

All the other cryptocurrencies available are the same as Bitcoin - they offer nothing new. Safecoin does, in fact for things like the deep web it would actually be much better in terms of anonymity. No blockchain for one.

Have a look. Either way will be interesting to see how this plays out, it's already overtaken dodge coin, if we get up to litecoin prices i'll be laughing ;)
 
Same protocol as any other altcoin is it not? I might have a read up on it tonight as its too much hassle reading the 33 page thread on bitcointalk on me phone.
 
No mate it doesn't run on the block chain for one. secondly buying the coins you're more or less investing in what they've created with their maidsafe browser which is the decentralised Internet.

I would have a look at the maidsafe forum guys. Honestly I didn't come here to shill for the coins, and I've been around the whole crypto thing forever, to me since day 1 this has looked like there is potential both in terms of short term investment (it's going to go up the day the browser is released which is in the next week or so). And in the long term it could be a good investment because of the concept of it does seem pretty solid.

Even if you look into it and disagree with everything I've said, let me know what you think mate.
 
I still think if you wanted a sound long-term investment, you could do worse than buy a few thousand fags, UK duty paid, and vacuum-seal them, and the purchase deceipts, to prevent degradation; then in a few years' time, they will be worth a fortune, seeing as tobacco tax is only ever going to go up, and you can prove the duty has already been paid on them.
 
I noticed that bitcoins have jumped up in value recently, then it suddenly clicked... with this ban on legal highs, surely they are going to surge in value!? everyone will be after them as the dark web is the only way forward for all the legal high addicts

Predicting an epidemic, I've quickly slapped down £300

Fucking shitting myself. that's a hell of a lot of money to lose if I got this wrong.

That's some very shrewd timing of your investment Raas. You could make hundreds. When i made a total fluke gain of £3,300 i had one hell of job getting the bitcoin site to give me the money.

One of the site admins was saying that they are there to transfer bitcoins to places where bitcoins are spent, not for paying profits out to customers, whilst another admin was much more helpful. I never knew which person would pick up and respond to my messages however. It may be different on differenet BC sites. Im not sure if we're allowed to name them on here.

I've probably left it too late to do the same as you on this occassion, but perhaps not, I will be keeping an eye on the prices.

EDIT: Yep their value is currently showing as £379 on the site i used. I bet that was the easiest £79 you've ever made. Who knows where the peak will be though, had i left my bitcoins in for another few months, until SR went down, and the aftermath of that, they would have been worth £47,000!! 8o All that from a £150-£200 deposit, I cant recall exactly now. The windfall profit would have been enough for me to get a new house, new car, and take a long break from work without having to worry about money, or if not all 3, at least 1 or 2 of them.

They are now up to over 400 on the site I'm using. if I have brains i'll sell quickly.

It's difficult to know how the UK's ban will affect them, remember they are a global economy, and we are only one small country. Will our ban on RC's be enough to significantly effect the market long term?
