Now that ive got some money i can spare i may start keeping an eye on BC prices again, currently $588 though, ouch. :\

Is it possible to buy like 0.10 of a BC or something? Last time i bought any BCs they were worth about £70. I cant remember how much they were worth when i spent £250 on them 2 or 3 years ago. Im sorry but i cannot resist repeating that if i had held onto those coins until their price peaked i would have got £47,000 pounds from that £250. That's if any of the traders would have actually released the cash, they really dont like doing that, not one bit. I dont trust any of those sites any more than i do some of the dodgy tor sites, who's to say they cant just close for business at the drop of a hat, at any time, taking everyones money with them. Obviously not a good idea to store your money on those sites, though i did very well out of being completely clueless and doing just that.

Yes it is possible to buy 0.1 of a BTC... different vendors have different limits though

I would recommend using LocalBitcoin... it is a legit site with vendors who have thousands of feedbacks
 
Well yes, frankly. I guess im just a geeky nerd though, easily impressed by such things.

cheers for the tip about LB. I have been 'out of the game' for quite some time, i got my last order of Subs off the first SR just a few weeks before it got busted. It was a lucky escape, i never really had very much money just sitting on there, but it would have been painfull to loose everything if i had decided to go for a big buy.
 
I don't know much about this kind of stuff but I'd second the localbitcoin recommendation. Really easy to do, I've bought as little as £20 worth off there before and I think you can even get less if you want. I never buy more than I'm going to use instantly, don't know if that's overly cautious or whatever but I just like having complete confidence that I'm not going to lose any money.
 
I have come to the conclusion that using BTC faucet is a waste of time

Made like 400 satoshi ( not even £00.00 ) I could go and pan handle and make more

Tbh pan handling is an extreme money maker... Mafia use it in Germany, they kidnap families and make them pan handle all day, they make thousands a day

Its a wild dream of mine to go gold pan handling in Alaska. On one 'reality tv' series one outdoorsy guy who knew what he was doing unearthed a $400 dollar nugget in his first pan. Ive even made a note of the location, should i ever get my shit together enough to get out there.
