Yeah i found alprazolam brilliant for sleep but it does have this window where my emotions feel blank. Its a bit different to how diazepam or temazepam effect me (although the latter temazepam does knock me out)
I also found clonazepam to have a similar effect to alprazolam though alot less sedative.
I think they should help with making it less prone to seizures/blackouts from the pregabilin cessation but ofc this isnt a guarentee.
I have found some minor discomfort today namely stomach churning and feeling a little more awake aswell as a bit of a headache. Strange as pregabilin was always very stimulating to me in terms of its effects though no problems when I want to sleep.
I do think it might get worse but im prepared to run out and try score some if worse case comes to it but I really want to come down and opening those 300mg things and then weighing the dose out can be a right pain. Some dont open so u need to use w razor blade to open it and then trying to get them into a paper skin without losing alot can be a pain too..
I really was shocked to find there isnt more clinics that deal with these addictions. I imagine going to unity/drug and alcohol wont end with me getting a script to titrate down off and plus I hate having druggy on my doctors records as they just treat you differently

seen it first hand with my parents. I know the doctors outright refused to give me it when i asked last year even though my psychiatrist put me on them to begin with over 10 years ago (I didnt try anymore than 75mg and thought they were shit so stopped it)
Sorry for the rambling.
I am stupid to get myself depending on any drug really. I was always very wary about getting addicted as my first addiction was etizolam when it was legal to buy online and that taper was horrid.
I imagine this might be worse but atm im feeling okish tbh
Im not sleeping anyways since stopping alprazolam which I began getting a slight habit too... I know imagine being addicted to both

.
I really hate being this way. I know that once I stop this pregabilin addiction I will be searching for the next thing to control my emotions but I honestly realising as im getting older that drugs are not really the answer long term.
