The bible says,
"Love is patient, love is kind, and is not jealous; love does not brag and is not arrogant, does not act unbecomingly; it does not seek its own, is not provoked, does not take into account a wrong suffered, does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails." (1Cor 13:4-8, NASB)

What is "love" to you?
Tell us in one line...
Your words, or someone else's.

"If you have it, you don't need to have anything else. If you don't have it, it doesn't matter much what else you have."
..Sir James M. Barrie

I'm still trying to come up with my own best definition.

Love is what makes everything worth going through at the end of that day. ~ me

Love is a psychological (sometimes behavioral) reaction to attractive physical, mental and emotional stimuli. Love, in itself, does not exist, only the idea we associate with this reaction does.

Love is the absence of pain, yet at the same time is the most insane hurt ever experienced. I would choose to never love again if i had the chance.

more than a line. oops.

-Love is rare; true love is non existent.
-Love is overhyped, misunderstood and dying.

PS i was in a mood of being apessimist:p

:D

Love is the most instense savagery and the most delicate intimacy; it contains within its expression the pinnacle of human accoplishment and humanities basest longings.
