E-cig vs real cigs for speed potentiation/ keeping calm during a frantic work binge

I've been taking speed for a few days cos I got my dissertation due Thursday while making sure I'm getting enough calories, vitamins, minerals and sleep and taking 1g tyrosine with some sugar water upon waking. I've been using an ecig since it helps take the edge off the stress and seems to take the edge of the speed a bit (been an occasional smoker for years, although switched to occasional ecig or nicitine gum use, and don't find them very addictive so not worried about that. I'm assuming that during the final push (due Thurs at noon and have a large but doable amount still to do), where I'll need all the chemical help I can get to keep calm and carry on as well as potentate the amphetamine (might even have a tiny dab of meth during the last 12 hours or so) that the MAOIs in real cigs (or cigarillos) would help me more. Not really that worried about potentiation if it just means I need less speed, but if its a qualitative difference it will def be worth it for one night. Am behind with the work since depression (which is extremely mild and occasional these days apart from coming back with a vengence around deadlines) made it really hard to work until I got scripted amitriptyline (a trycyclic antidepressant) a few days ago (which I plan on coming off once the deadline is over), but I'm in a good mindset now, but anything that helps me be in a good mood and concentrate will def be of benefit and since its only a day and a half I'm not too worried about cigs being bad for me long term, or starting a habit since I'm very health conscious and dont have an addictive personality. If the carbon monoxide in my blood could make the stims more dangerous that might b something to consider when deciding (although my resting heart rate is generally about 60 and I'm young and healthy so I don't think that would be an issue, espec since I'm not planning on really pushing my limits too much with stim dosages. Would have done more research before posting but I have so much work to do lol.

Even if its just something like, "MAOIs will improve mood" or "I find real cigs wake e up more" any reply would be appreciated (seen there have been quite a few views but no replies since I asked lots of Qs at once, making people feel their not qualified to give any advice when I've been so specific. I found a page about smoking's influence on diff drugs and apparently the tar like chemicals in cigs reduce the half life of amitriptyline (which would probs be good for during the day as it does seem to make me a little drowsier the next day, so I think I'll have a cig iab, then look later and see if any replies can help my decision since decreasing the half life of the ami that seems to make me take a little longer to wake up won't be an issue by then. While I still enjoy ecigs, I'm looking forward to having a valid excuse to smoke a real one lol, but if the benifit will be mainly limted to helping redue the ami half life I don't think I can really justify having one later lol.

Though I understand it can be difficult waiting for an answer but we ask that you don't bump your own threads. Things like time zones and stuff effect message rate and most threads get replied to.

I wish I could give a better answer then this but I feel the effects of vaporized nicotine, either e cig or tobacco, has a minor effect on stims but not one I ever put so much thought into. I say if you wanna buy a pack of cigs because your on stims you could simply use the fact your tweaking as an excuse to get them, no need to get technical ;)

The maoi effect would be short lived and wouldn't change the over all experience other then when your smoking. I love smoking while I'm tweaking but I never really considered all that you did. Sorry I can't give a better answer

sorry. thanks for the reply, I just had one and it felt better than an e-cig.Think the no need to get technical idea is pretty legit, if I'm enjoying it more than an e-cig (whatever the reason) and those few relaxing minutes every now and then throughout the night help me stay calm rather than stressing out, its going to help me get thro the next 36 hours and working well on finishing my dissertation is going to have much more of a long term effect than being a smoker for 36 hours lol. :)
