E and your period......

Ask your doctor.
I mean, s/he'll probably advise you not to take E but s/he can't actually do anything to stop you, doctor patient confidentiality and the like.

Also, don't be complaining about not having your period since April. I would kill for that. My cycle just keeps getting shorter and shorter.
 
e's never really affected my period.. but last month during my period, i did e and my period is late around 4 days (so far) this month.. so hopefully im not pregnant..
 
I have done a million pregnancy test, and all of them are negative. So could X effect the result of the pregnanacy test? I am going to make an appt. to go to the doctor but, If i am not preg I dont want to tell I am using X.

MY GF was/is on Orthotricycline-lo(sp), she was spotting/late for a couple months, we took a bunch of different pregnancy tests, they all came up negative. She went to the doctor to get a blood test and it came back positive. When we went for an ultrasound she should of been about 2/3 months pregnant, but the ultrasound said 4-5 weeks. We didn't tell them that we were using alcohol, benzos, meth, and mda/mdma. If we would of known she was pregnant, we would of stopped all usuage. So all I'm saying is don't trust the home tests.
 
If you are concerned about how well the pill might be working for you while you are during E maybe you should consider the shot.

I've been on the shot since I was 16 (I'll be 20 in a few months), and I haven't had a period since. Most BC pill users probably know that some antibiodics will affect your pill, but that doesn't happen with the shot. So, even though I doubt there is an interaction with pill/E, you would probably be safer with the shot.

I would assume that would hold true for all drugs you might be using. The shot works in a different way then the pill. It completely shuts down your cycle. No egg is released and even if it was there is no lining in the uterus to support it. So you wouldn't ever have to worry about your drug use fucking up your pill.

p.s. shot is also cheaper then the pill because you only get it four times a year

antibiotics can be affected by any hormone - just depends on which types - saying all antibiotics are ok while on "the shot" (depoprovera i assume) ...would be incorrect.

The shot works exactly the same as the pill. If you took the pill that contains birth control hormones every single day ...without a break or placebo ...you would never get a period or uterine lining either.

They are only different in their dosage and timing method. No egg is released while on birth control pill.

The shot works out to be about the same amount over the course of a year as the pill. Most of the risks and effects are the same with any form of hormonal birth control. Some vary depending on the method. Having it injected into your arm so you don't have to remember every day to ingest it by mouth ...produces basically the same outcome.

They are birth control methods ...many types ...different benefits for the individual user.

My advice : ....talk to a PROFESSIONAL for helpful and informative sexual health medicine.

well first off ur not supposed to do drugs on the pill so i dunno ask ur doctor because my gyno told me it's not safe it cancells it out

You are retarded! Ask your doctor? I'm pretty sure a obgyn wouldn't know anything about ecstasy and it's effects on a woman's body. Of course your gyno is going to tell you it's not safe. What doctor wouldn't? It doesn't cancel it out.

To the op - have you had excessive weight loss recently? When I was in my pill crazed days I lost about 10 lbs and I'm already thin to begin with. Being underweight can effect your cycle.
 
ive been on ortho 777 for about 7 months and it the best pill ive been on (tried about 4). however, im on day 8 of my pack of pills and have my period, and its heavier than usual. i just had it like a week and a half ago! and when i get my period on this pill its usually light.

any ideas or similar experiences?
 
heavy break through bleeding is concerning!
...i would have that looked into immediately.
although it's probably the birth control itself, it could be something more serious that needs treatment.
...so go get it figured out with medical advice!
