e and antibiotics?

just wondering; i have just (about three weeks ago) had my lip pierced, and it's still very sore, and afaik it's infected. anyway, i want to go and get antibiotics for it, but i was wondering what would happen if i were also to drop a (or some) pills?
i'm just a bit worried that this could create unforseen risks, but then, my lip is really pissing me off 'cos it hurts...and i don't know what antibiotics they would be (is that relevant?) 'cos i obviously don't have them yet!!
if this *would* be a problem, can anyone recommend other ways to stop the pain? (apart from listerine and salt water, i've been doing that). thanks.
(btw: i did a search, and came up with a couple of results, but i guess i wanted a *specific* answer...is this ok?)

go to the health forum and ask, theyll give u the best answer... i asked in here, someone told me one thing, went to health Q&A found out it was quite the opposite...
Some antibiotics (i know erithromiacin does) slow the break down of mdma in the liver(?) by affecting the production of an enzyme that helps break down mdma...

Also it's more than possible that if you take MDMA it might stop the antibiotic from working properly. I think when this question has come up in the past the answers were generally not advising doing it - purely for the fact that you're taking antibiotics for a reason (to get better) so it's not worth the risk of them not working (and therefore you not actually getting better)...
Prolly best to wait until you're off the antibiotics. There'll be another opportunity for pills soon I'm sure...
