Will robitussin long acting cough gels with active ingredient dxm hbr give me the same effect as robitussing cough syrup? How many pills should I take? I have used Delsym 12 hour before but not Robitussin
 
It depends if there is only DXM in the gels. If so, then however much milligrams of DXM from the cough syrup you usually take then that's how much of the gels you should take. You also may not feel sick at all with pure DXM gels. The gels usually come in 15mg or 30mg.
 
The gels are a good source of DXM, but make sure to puncture them each a few times with a pin before you eat them.
 
Yup. I think the coating sometimes doe not dissolve as quickly as it should, or it's a time release membrane, either way when I did the gels without puncturing them I was thoroughly diappointed. When i pinholed them twice per they worked great.

Remember you have to choke down 20 of them for a 300mg trip, they are only 15mg I believe.
 
Anyone else swallow whole 20ct at one go, i like to eat papaya digestive enzyme supplement, helps break everything don but prob shortens total duration ime, ive also found if i take more than 2.4gm of guaifenesin in 1 day i will eliminate everything in me, but i sometimes use this formulation for topup dose or 1st plateau exp

These gels don't contain gauifensin or anything else, just DXM HBr in like, glycerine and soy oil or some shit?
 
Yeh, i can get 20 tablets with 400mg 20mg dxm, or 15mg coughgels, so a cpl 20mg tablets wth guaf can be a cheap, for me, way to get xct dose i want or top off a 300mg cough gell dose, however everone shd always stick to dxm preps only

For me it wrks and keeps dxm budget down

Prepare for bloating, burps and gas when taking the Tussin gelcaps. A slight nausea that passes relatively quickly is also possible.
 
That's the reason I don't want to take the gelcaps anymore actually. Swallowing so many caps gives me a gag reflex for some reason... I know its purely psychological because it doesn't taste anything, still very unpleasant though in my opinion.
 
Bruh the dxm high at 600mg+ is worth the gel caps. The afterglow n shit is fucking amazing. But like swallowing 40 gels is one of the worst experiences one can go through.
 
Yeah for some reason swallowing those specific gelcaps is the worst. When i was younger i would just down like 15 at a time in one gulp, but my throat learned to close in their presence mighty fast.
