Me and my roommate are thinking of DXM tripping today and i was wondering if i could get some opinions on a couple of things. fist off some facts

I am approx 260lbs. 6'6'' and have DXM tripped a few times before
My roomie is about 6'4' 190 and has never DXM'ed before, but has taken LSD and Shrooms before.

My Questions are

Whats kind of DXM should we buy
Mucinex DM Max?
Robotussin DM Max?
Coricieden Cold and Cough?
Something Else?

and how much should we take?
Im looking for a Hard trip
Hes looking for a Moderate to Hard trip.

Don't buy any of those they have nasty and harmful chemicals in it that you don't want. Look for Robitussin Maximum Strength Cough, or something with DXM as the only active ingredient (look on the back of the box to be sure). If your an experienced tripper and want a hard trip I'd start off with 600mg and go from there, that's about 2 bottles. Good look and happy tripping.
 
Look on the packages and see what they say. If under the active ingridents it says anything other than DXM HBr or dxm polistirex, do not consume. From what I can remember from buying DXM every so often it looks like none of those are DXM only.

If you guys have never taken DXM before i recommend trying a enzyme test by taking 50-100mg. you don't want to have an enzyme def and cause yourself to trip balls from such a low dose which can last for days.

If you've taken DXM before I'd go for 354mg (one 117ml bottle I believe with 15mg DXM/5mL).
 
does the above advise apply for UK too ?

i tried finding decent product with active amount o dxm init, but is hard, last bottle i bruoght was lke some benylinn or something of ebay (£15) did'nt even do anything

i have preety much sampled all of the main psychs n loved thm, but dxm so badly wanna try it, lke acid n dmt, i know i will like it
 
Man, it's a nasty drug. I wouldn't do it... Gave me one of the longest, worst hangovers in my life.
 
Just thinking about that drug makes me cringe... Yuck!

I took that back when I couldn't find anything else and was desperate for a high.

There's something not right about gulping down 40 nasty pills for a psychedelic experience...
 
First time taking DXM should always be ~100 mg to check if you're enzyme deficient.
 
You will want to buy robotusin DRY COUGH forte.....look at the box make sure that dextromethorphan (DXM) is the only thing in it.......

P.S for a first timer i would recomend drinking 1 bottle i did that and weight 60ishKG at the time and loved it! havent done it in a good 3 years think i might have to have a robo weekend soon :p
 
Try Robitussin cough gels. Cheap and side-effect free. There are generic versions that work just as well, marketed by Walgreens, CVS, and Rite Aid here in the U.S. There are also internet vendors who sell powder. You can mix the powder into a (nonalcoholic) drink. These can take some time to hit your bloodstream, so be patient and don't be quick to use more.

Unlike earlier posters on this thread, my only side effect was liking it too much. It tends to reduce pain and loosen muscle stiffness, and if you have chronic pain like me, it is a welcome reprieve but it's no fun to feel the normal pain returning.
 
DXM is my shizz, so I hope all went well with the trip. As I'm sure you've been told (I didn't read the whole thread), DXM trips totally change with dosage. It can range from feeling like you just took a small dose of speed, to feeling like you shot Ketamine into your muscles. Look up the DXM Calculator on Dextroverse, which will give you a good idea of what dosage to take.
For your first time (as someone said) you should do an enzyme test to make sure you're not CYP2D6 (Correct enzyme?) deficient. After that, make sure that the preparation contains ONLY Dextromethorphan Hbr (Hydrobromide). Delsym brand (best tasting) contains a time release form of DXM called DXM Polistirex. I'd avoid this for the time being. Any cough syrup with DM in the name will make you sick because of the Guaifenasin. Pain relief cough syrups WILL KILL you, because they contain Acetaminophen (Tylenol) which is very hepatoxic (toxic to the liver).
Once you've gotten the syrup, I'd say about 300 mg is good for a first timer. My first few trips (all at 300) were the best I've ever had. Remember though, DXM is not a toy and can SERIOUSLY fuck you up in the brain. Avoid 3rd and 4th Plateau trips for now. 2nd Plateau is the most fun, without a risk of psychosis. Just remember, be safe, have fun, and if your gun cabinet starts to warp, it's just the tussin (speaking from my first 3rd plateau experience) :p
 
Oh, I didn't edit in time, but to the OP. STAY AWAY from Coricidin. It has Clorpheniramine maleate (sp?) in it, which is an anti-histamine (allergy medicine), and it causes intensely high blood pressure, and is just bad in general.

if i were you i would do an extraction. if i were you i would also take 400-500 mgs. once you get some trips under your belt, or your friend or whatever step it up to 700-800mgs. thats where the fun begins. be careful though, iv done it soo much i still havnt fully come down and i just got out of rehab again so i have been sober 30+ days and im still hullucinting:/ so be careful and space your trips out!

DXM in combo with opioids have been shown to increase the analgesic effects of the said opioid. Also, uncompetitive NMDA-antagonism has been seen to produce pain relieving effects for other types of pain such as neuropathic, or allodynia.
 
I had a bad trip with the syrup idk which platuea i reached i think 2 and a half lol cause i had really bad diarrheal im going to try again tho this time with pill form.=)
