Hypothetically could Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide be removed from pills containing Paracetemol, Dextromethorphan
Hydrobromide and Promethazine Hydrochloride?

Also just out of intrest what would the point of removing Promethazine be? Obviously removing the APAP is so you can treat your cough better without the risk of paracetemol overdose.

And what is a hydrobromide? Is it diffrent to the DXM found in cough syrup?

It apparently can be extracted from some (probably not all but I'm not sure) products that contain added ingredients cos we have a thread on it - [DXM Subthread] Extraction. I've never attempted it and have never used DXM though so will leave it to others to discuss.

I have read some of those methods but wanted to see if there was a method as simple as cold water extraction.
