So recently I have been poking around with weed and ambien. separately mind you. I decided to do a DXM+Weed combo the other weekend. However, as usual drugs lower ones judgement and cause you to throw down other things. Here is how it went:
T 0:00 - Threw down 20 caps of DXM pills. 300mg total, 3mg/kg for me. Not much.
T 1:00 - Starting buzz off the DXM. things are a little swirly and such. I got the cocky a-hole attitude I usually get.
T 1:15 - Blast a bowl with my friend.
T 1:17 - Feeling it all kinda hitting. I have an extremely elevated view of myself.
T 1:20 - Another bowl between me and my home boy.
T 1:30 - At this point I'm fried. I find myself "time warping." I'll be sitting there and everything will feel normal, then I'll feel this rushing crazy feeling and I awake back to normal speed. Its like somebody hit fast forward for a minute.
T 1:45 - Watching Pineapple express, and I feel as though I am there the whole time, as they are high and so am I.
T 2:00 - At this point, all my movements are exaggerated and I feel like I'm swimming, as if the air is thick. Very cool.
T 2:15 - Decide to slap 2 Ambien down, 20mg.
T 2:25 - I suddenly feel amazing. Like so high up its not even funny. Everything went turbo here. Everywhere I looked, had tracers and swirls. I would move my hand and it looked like I stirred some murky water. Everything I touched rippled.
I then proclaimed "It's like I'm on fire!!!"
In a good way. I had this sort of white glow around my whole body. It was like right along my outline. It was sorta like a Dragon Ball Z moment. I had this fire like energy. I informed my friend I could take on literally anything at that moment.
T 2:35 - I feel tired
T 5:35 - I wake up on my couch, sitting up, kinda like fetal position but upright. Still feeling odd. I think at this point it was the DXM still lingering.
T 5:37 - Crawl into bed, smiling and feeling pretty good. Felt like I was on a raft or something.
Soooo anyway. That was pretty much it. Nothing insane. My friend said I was basically just sleeping out cold hunched over like that for a couple hours. He finished watching the movie and went to bed. The feeling I had for like 10 minutes was really something. Tingly, enflamed, electric. Very cool.
Not sure how exactly the Ambien relates to it all. I have yet to try doing lots of DXM and ambien, and I imagine I would probably just blank out again. DXM is a strange substance and I probably will tread lightly with that mix.
But I would say overall I found the combo pleasant. Not a bad moment all night. Very happy. Just nothing really out of the ordinary. Figured I'd share for anyone curious about a more routine trip.
6/10 i would give it. Not for anything bad, but just not anything that interesting.
