DXM Trip Wear off

Last night i thought i was dying im now thinking my mom knows i use drugs because i slurr my speech i took about 900mg of DXM last night Around 8:00Central time and i want this stuff to wear off im thinking im stupid for taking this now cause i think im messing my life up and i am so how long will this take to wear off and what can i do to sober up faster please help Yea i know im a stupid teenager but please help this is serious
 
You'll sober up sooner or later, how long depends on the person. Just take it easy, eat and stay hydrated, avoid taking other drugs, avoid dealing with people or operating heavy machinery to mitigate chances of your inebriation causing trouble, and go to bed early. You should be a-okay by tomorrow, perhaps even later today. Well, if you have trouble metabolizing DXM (have you done it before?) this might last days, even a fortnight.

Thats the problem i have been taking DXM On and off since friday i know it can mess me up and i shoudent have done it i have been sober before but i think i took it s step too far
 
Oh, okay, so it was a lil' mini-binge. If you felt normal, or were returning towards normal during your previous doses, I don't think you need worry that you're one of the people who take an extremely long time to metabolize the drug. I'm not sure about slurred speech, but my motor coordination is off after taking high doses of dissociatives for ~24 hours on average, though once (with 4-meo-pcp, which has a longer duration than DXM) it for 4 days for the effects to wear off.

A number of antipsychotics decrease the effects of dissociatives, and people have reported piracetam doing the same (without all the negative side effects of APs). I can't think of anything you should find easily available that will help get rid of this quicker, so be patient. Just say you're feeling sick and use that as an excuse to not talk or be overly active.
 
DXM OD Question

Last night i took 900mg of DXM will i OD if i take 300mg tonight im still feeling some of the effects
 
No, but it will probably be a waste. You do build tolerance after a trip.

DXM does not lend itself to dosing day-after-day. Give yourself time between experiences for best effects.
 
I would avoid using dxm that often. Though the "holes in the brain" theory has never been proven in humans the holes they might create are not intelligence increasing or allow extra air flow. The fact that there's a slim chance they might be real should be reason enough to give yourself a week in between, though that's still not long enough.

Over use of dxm will cause some very odd effects that will make your daily life different. Take my warning you don't want to end up emotionless or mentally slow for an extended period of time. The stuff just feels hard on the brain.
 
I've done that a few years back, what I did then was lock myself in my room and pretended I was asleep. I've done worse shit than that. I remember a few months after that, I took a shit load of Miprocin and as I was coming down, I started talking with one of my brothers who obviously knew something was up cause of how I was talking due to a time distortion.
 
you didn't mess yourself up. DXM actually consistently causes that feeling for some reason. You'll be fine, if anyone asks just say you were tired and haven't slept right the last few days. Several days of using DXM can make you feel brain damaged but it will clear up, no actual damage is being done.

DXM Qestion

I took 900 MG of DXM two days ago and im still slurring my words if i take more again but a lower dose will i still slurr my words this far after taking it i know i shouldent but the experience was awesome and i would like to do it again
