DXM summary from 3 different trips
I recently tried out DXM and here's what i have to tell about my experiences:
My first time i did 250mg.
I started feeling something weird after about 45-60 min, couln't really describe this feeling. it was just overall weirdness.
Motor skills very way off like when u get really drunk on alcohol.
i had big trouble walking normal , movements very somewhat robotic like (it's actually called "robo-walk") My thoughts seemed slowed , the body high was also really weird , like my head was almost like a balloon , expanding in my skull but my body was so light i barely feel it.
I experienced intense need for conversating but when i tried talking my words just wouldn't come out right.
I had made up what i was about to say in my head but when i tried saying it , it came out all screwed up. Couln't find the right words sometimes and it was hard to build sentences.
Strange fever like hallucinating (if u've had really high fever sometime maybe u know what kind of hallucinating i mean) It was like stuff i looked at seemed either way too big or way too small or both at the same time.
This is also described at erowid:
There may also be Lilliputian hallucinations (everything seems either way too big or way too small, or both). Some people find considerable similarity with fever hallucinations; this can be unpleasant.
It was scary at some times and cool at some times...
the hallucinating comes in waves, first hitting u all at once then it's almost instanly gone and then comes back again .. and so on.
Sometimes during the trip i felt very intense confusion. I had no idea what was going on and feeled really lost.
The experience lasted about 6-8 hours and i had a slight hangover the next day.
The second time i did 225mg (should actually increased dose but i shared it with a friend)
After about 45 min i started to feel nauesa and dizzyness like u are on a boat on airplane and u feel very sick. It was like u wasn't standing on the ground.
Again the total confusion kicked in.. still nauesa but it went away eventually and an almost euphoria feeling set in. The messed up motor skills stayed with us the entire trip.
The euphoria state seemed somewhat long lasting and didn't really fade until late in the evening.
This state is also mentioned on erowid:
There is a definite DXM euphoria (called the "Tussin Euphoria" by the same people who refer to Tussin Space and Tussin Consciousness), but not everyone experiences it. Some in fact find DXM so profoundly disturbing that they never repeat the experience. A very few seem to find such incredible meaning and profundity to the DXM experience that it becomes psychologically addictive.
The Tussin Euphoria is totally unlike the euphoria from "body drugs" such as cocaine or heroin, and equally unlike the euphoria from MDMA (ecstasy). Instead, it is a sensation of being totally at peace with onesself, the universe, and other people. Ordinary cares and concerns seem to vanish as one enters a world where anything is possible, and the body becomes increasingly irrelevant. "Meat pleasures" such as food and sex are no longer relevant.
I felt like a really enjoed this and it was worth all the nauesa.
Third time i did it alone and this time a sligtly higher dose at 330mg.
The whole experience was much like what i had experienced before.
First the dizzyness , nauesa and confusion kicked it then when it faded a state of lightheadness heading into the tussin euphoria.
I felt like the drug worked hard on my body and i was kind of exhausted the day after, walking was still a little messed up when i went to sleep.
Anyway all my experiences have been positive and i wanna try it many more times
