A prior note, at the time I was on the SSRI Lexapro and the NRI strattera, which I know made this trip a very bad idea, what what can I say, I'm a fuckass. My friend and I were at his house at around midnight, when we each consumed an 8 ounce bottle of Robotussin Extra/Maximum Strength. The first hour-2 hours was fairly typical of coming up on a psychedelic ... mild visuals, a lifted feeling, giddiness, with a slowly setting in drunkeneness that was mostly felt in my sluggishness/clumsiness that got worse and worse. Soon, I was experiencing failry distorted/fragmented vision and we started watching a movie that we obviously found very hard to follow.
Eventually we decided to take a walk despite the fact that it was raining out. (I was wearing a pair of pajama pants and a white shirt and tie from work hours earlier - he was wearing shorts and a black raincoat) We staggered down a hill to the road, and then a large public park (by now it was probably around 2am) where we pissed into a river, walked around remarking about the amazing visual qualities everything was taking on, and how the night felt like a vivid dream.
We continued walking through the downtown area, stooped under a building to smoke a cigarette (which I found impossible to do for one reason or another), then staggered back to the house after stopping in the park again where my friend climbed a bench, proclaiming that we were gods because "no one does this". We knelt on the ground and felt the grass, in awe of how the earth was "a beast" and talked about nature, cops, and how we felt fearless of being caught staggering around drunkenly (or "trippingly").
Back at the house things got more intense, and we got to a point where we could scarcely communicate, and with intense visions in our head. We had a friendly, complicated, very long debate about what music to put on, and my memory at this point is very hazy as we descended into total hallucinatory madness, and probably just resigned to lying around. I do remember however feeling like we communicated telepathically, and uttering a few phrases between each other throughout the night in the dark, and literally feeling sucked out of my body and drawn around multiple worlds on a rollercoaster and also on some type of boat, hearing many voices, seeing people from my past and present as well as events in my life appearing in a landscape similar to a videogame I play, and a total sensation of movement that was all too real, which is why I dubbed the trip the out of body experience.
Throughout the night and early morning, I had almost no vision and absolutely no balance, I remember becoming terrified that I would be in this insane state forever and that I was fucked, and making a few staggering, totally disorienting bathroom trips before sinking back onto my phouton and back into the dreamlike but vivid visions I was being pummeled with in fractured, scary parts.
By the morning I was still slightly hallucinating, although my coginition was norma. But my vision and coordination were SEVERELY fucked, like being extremely drunk, and sadly it remained this way all day, even while I worked 1130-5 and this terrified me to no end, informing my coworkers that I was ill and overtired while I had to steady myself whenever I walked. By 5 or so, I just put myself to bed and slept an astonishing 15 straight hours without a break, waking at around 9 to feel quite normal again.
