DXM question

Would a low dose DXM say between 200-300mg give me just stimulant effects and an aphrodisiac effect or should the dose be lower? its in hbr form btw

No-one can really say how it will affect you because we know nothing of your weight/tolerance etc. but i think at 300mg from my personal experience and i weigh 175lbs made me feel very dissociated and i did not want to move at all. If you want a stimulant effect I don't think you should pass 150mg or 200mg if you weighed my weight.

does the hbr mean that its coriciden cough and cold form? because 180 mg of dxm in that form was enough to get me pretty messed up my first time (could hardly talk right and balance was messed up) and after a few goes at it I could take 6 and get mainly stimulant effects because of my tolerance. I weighed/weigh 145 lb.

DXM's effects are too variable to trust it as a mere stimulant or aphrodisiac*. Expect that at any time you might find yourself in a tripping state of mind (unless the dose is very, very low [<25mg]). This is especially true if you're taking other drugs as well.

*I don't get any aphrodisiac effects from DXM; in fact, it makes me totally disinterested in sex!

yeah I have no feelings of sex what so ever just feel slightly intoxicated. Was expecting more from 300mg

For me 300 is a good 1st plateau trip, especially with 2 or 3 beers just before I dose with DXM. 45 min to an hour later and I can barely walk, my pupils are huge and words are slurred my thought process is significantly skewed. Agreed there is no interest in sex. I rarely will get stimulant effects at this dose, but Im usually drinking so thats probably why. Height: 5'10" Weight: 165lbs
