DXM question?

my friend got me into doing dxm and my question is for the calculators found online, we took same amount but it hits him way harder than me? he weights about 60-70 pounds more than me so if weight is a factor according to calculators. my question more so asking why does it hit him harder than it does me even tho we took same amount? the calculator said ide need less than he would to reach same effects yet it seems i need alot more? also it seems to last alot less time for me, like for him it last alot longer at same dose?

if anything is unclear please ask as i am under influence right now as i ask this question haha

He could have a liver defficiency, its rare though. I mean is he higher for like a day longer than you? It really sounds like that might be the, he should be varey when dosing dxm. check out this dxm faq http://www.erowid.org/chemicals/dxm/faq/.

how much stronger are his effects compared to yours? is it like a complete plateau difference?

also, what was the last meal that you each had before dosing? it could be the fact that maybe you had more food in your stomach which would delay the peak. DXM can be tricky sometimes. i try not to eat at least 4 hours (but usually i wait 6 to be safe) before dosing, and still sometimes i find the peak to vary from time to time.

also did you do the gel caps or syrup? i've had both good and bad experiences with the gel caps, so i usually always go syrup which is pretty much a guarantee to work. sometimes the gel caps don't all break in unison, which can definitely be a determining factor in how hard you trip.

also, may i ask what dosage you took? i find a little weed to help potentiate DXM a lot, and weed and DXM have some nice synergy at the 350 mg or less mark. if you took any amount higher than this, smoke with caution, or you can find yourself having a very intense DXM freak out session for the rest of the night.

weight does play a big role but the effects can differ individually (hard to compare without being able to go into eachother's minds ); perhaps you have a greater tolerance than your friend as well. Cannabis certainly can bring out some strong effects, I find the whole experience a bit boring without it.

dex or DXM is great at first but for most people it becomes a very nasty feeling drug i used to love it now i absolutely hate it more than words can put across
