DXM + Promethazine + Ritalin. Safety?

Hi,

I intend on taking 300mg of DXM this evening. Well, in about an hour.
I've just had a small meal (ice cream) so in about an hour, my stomach won't be empty, but not full either

20mg of Ritalin IR was taken about 3 hours before the intended time of taking DXM.

Since I get nauseous quite easily, I have Promethazine 25mg pills.

Is it safe to mix with the DXM if taken in a low-ish dose of about 50mg or so.

Based on my knowledge of pharmacology, I can see anything too bad with the Promethazine, it's only the Ritalin which could be slightly problamtic as both Ritalin and DXM are NRIs and so the combonation may cause high blood pressure. My BP when it was last measured a few months ago was in the low end of normal even with the scripted Ritalin which raised it slightly so I'm not particularly prone to hypertension.

Any thoughts?

Uppers don't mix well with DXM, though after 4 hour ritalin should be worn off, at least for me. It feels bad for the heart.

Serotonin syndrome is likely to occur - DXM is particularly notorious for increasing propensity for SS.

I waited a bit longer; 5 1/2 hours, just to ensure there was negligible Ritalin left over

The experience was pretty lame though, just felt like motion sickness, and there was nothing fun or cerebral about the blunt intoxication

Glad I took the Promethazine though, as I probably would have vomited a lot otherwise

Going to try DXM again sometime, except I'll take a higher dose with some weed
